NFL Exec: Rips 2014 Class of Tight Ends....

Recommended Posts

....  and he rips all of them, including Eric Ebron in this story picked up by NFL.com

Basically he says they (A) don't block, (B) and their ego makes them huge pains in the butt!

Rips Ebron, Acere, especially Seferian-Jenkins (not a surprise) Niklas...   all of them....

Here's your story....

If you are looking more for blocking, Arthur Lynch is the best blocking TE out of this group, he is from Georgia. Falcons' fans want the local boy as Gonzo's replacement already:

He is quiet and not flashy, with a solid floor for in-line blocking and has played against real good competition to qualify his blocking skills further.

I thought the big kid from Iowa is supposed to be a good blocking tight end?    That's what I thought I've been reading?

Anyone?    Anyone?

Just asking......

I don't think CJ (Iowa) as good a blocker, but he's decent.  It's just that CJ has a bit better skill set to be a receiving TE as well.  Arthur Lynch is the better blocker, just not quite as strong a receiver.
