At least no one has seen me proclaiming that John Chick is a pro bowler hahaha.

RG3 was an olympic caliber hurdler and track athlete. He would be able to at least run for his life vs. getting sacked every play like Luck would. Ryan Leaf? Jamarcus? Trade the pick and build for the future. Luck will not lead us to the promise land. Look at what Oakland is doing right now with a washed up QB. They are doing so because they drafted talent around the QB position and speed. If Atlanta gave the whole board for Julio then what can we get for this over valued pick? If somebody offers there whole board we could get RG3 and so much talent around him that it would be sickening.

There are a more than a few who are exhibiting the type of behavior associated with recovery from substance abuse, we'll call this the "Peyton can't play there for Luck must suck", phase of denial.

Seriously though, most of this is going to come down to how well Peyton has recovered, and at this rate I'm not sold on him ever being 100%, so I'm gonna hope Luck is who they say he is, because it's at least 50/50 that were going to be rooting for him on sunday's.

In my opinion odds are that he's going to be a good to outstanding quarterback at the pro level before he will be a mediocre to bust level QB.

With that said I still have reservations about drafting him without the coaching staff being cleaned out an entirely new offensive system and team dynamic being installed.

I would rather dump the entire front office and coaching staff in order to get luck. The decision is simple, if Manning is not healthy, you draft a QB. This organization will find a way to screw up. They will have manning on the PUP list for the next 2 years and extend Caldwells contract 5 years. Painter will still be struggling to keep Collins off the field, and they will let Carter go in favor of Addai and his 2.3 YAC. Polians grand son will become Head of Twitter operations.
