In case you didn't watch the game, the Rams had a chance to win, Cardinals blocked the field goal, it went to overtime. Rams won the toss, they had to punt the ball and Patrick Peterson, had a punt return for a touchdown and broke like four tackles. It was CRAZY.

On the flipside, as far as the Andrew Luck sweepstakes goes, I'm glad the Rams lost, since I doubt they'll replace Sam Bradford - who already is a young 1st round overall QB - with another.

Kolb is the bigger joke. The dude has done nothing in the league, but was labelled as one of the top free agents available and the Cards fell for it bad.

A 2nd round pick and DRC for Kolb... It would be hard to give away just that 2nd round pick for Kolb, but DRC too!!! The fans there must hate that GM.

I have....and he's made plenty of rookie mistakes, which is perfectly normal. They all do.

I am NOT trying to turn this into a draft thread, but this is exactly why the "trade down and build Peyton a defense" philosophy has to be tempered by reality. Patrick Peterson was heralded as the best pure prospect by alot of knowledgeable folks last year.

In the long run they might be correct, and Peterson may very well become a Pro Bowl level CB....but these things take time. Time that we may not have.

I wonder how Larry Fitzgerald feels....with the new contract he just signed, he's marooned in Arizona for the rest of his career.
