Go ahead and laugh at me... Im the dark cloud!

Just take a look at who Grigson is paying top dollar to:

RJF, Toler, Landry, Walden. All mediocre players. Traded for Shepard.

Now today he pays Vontae Davis 40 million for another mediocre player.

Resigns Moala, who always stunk and brings back AV for two more years.

Not to mention Richardson.

dude you must not understand the NFL look at every team they all have at least one mediocre guy that they pay ridiculous amounts of money to if you cant accept that then your watching the wrong sport maybe cricket more your game

Grade from waltefootball

Colts re-sign CB Vontae Davis (4 years, $39M; $20M guaranteed): B+ Grade
This is a lot of guaranteed money for Vontae Davis, but he's worth it. Despite his poor performance in the playoffs - he was hobbled with an injury - Davis is one of the better cornerbacks in football. Considering that the Colts have to go through Denver and/or New England to reach the Super Bowl, keeping a stud corner like Davis was essential for their chances.

I'm a human being. We all are, and race should never be an issue. Vontae is one hell of a player... and deserves the contract he got. If you are upset then you better suck it up buttercup because you will be seeing him a lot over the next 4 years.

Last time I might a troll they were turned into stone, and I wish that would happen now.

The numbers sound high but that's probably because the Colts haven't had a top 10 corner. Plus you gotta look at the big picture; the steady increase in the cap and the teams we expect to play in the playoffs. If we let him walk, we would've lost a top CB and wasted a 2nd rd pick in the Davis trade.

This isn't like the Kelvin Hayden deal.

    • I think the Fan will get indicted after looking at the video. Regarding our discussion, it depends on the situation to how I really think about this. If for some reason lets say a son and his father get into a fight. The father hits the son and a witness calls the police and the police have to do a report but the son doesn't want to press charges, IMO it should be over and done with if it was a one time thing. Who wants to press charges against their father?? A Grand Jury could though then it creates all kinds of family problems. I am surprised the Rockies fan that got punched doesn't want to pursue though, it was a stranger that hit him.
    • I'm pleased where we are at with our cap, so kudos to our planning. Why sweat the details.  CB and Irsay will do all they can to keep as many as they can. And the established culture will always be a  competitive advantage at contract time.  I see us in position to having a o-line and ground game along the lines of the Cowboys and Emmitt.   Most of you understand what that means for time of possession and play action. If Wentz can get even close to 33-7... we can justify a very high % towards the right dominant individuals.  We would be as good as any for 3-4 years. Knock Knock
    • That was my biggest gripe with not getting someone in the draft, but they drafted a premium position still so it didn't really matter. I expect them to be able to re-sign every the next couple years. We'll start losing people if they keep drafting well but that's a good thing.
    • Lol. You actually agree with the other Vikings fans. I'm the one who believed they should press charges.      You have a point. If someone robs me, if I don't want to press charges, then I should not be forced to cooperate in the prosecution. That I get. However, with this guy, I don't know. He punched that Rockies fan so hard and could have killed him. How do you deter someone like this from doing it again? I guess the Rockies can ban him from the stadium; however, somebody else can buy him a ticket and let him in.
