Richard Sherman is an embarassment to the NFL

I might be in the minority on this but I don't care how well someone plays and if they back up their trash talk I still don't like it.  I don't watch the NFL to watch people run their mouths towards each other.  Frankly I wish the NFL would flag it more often and hand out more punishments for it.  With that said I am sure I am in the minority there.

He is very intelligent when he's calm..and its acceptable to brag on yourself,,,,

.....but don't bad mouth other players in post game.....

/////No maturity, no class

Get over yourself. The guy just had the game-winning tip, reaffirmed his best cb status, adrenaline running through him, and he's probably had to hear Crabtree in his ear all game long. He didn't even disrespect the interviewer, he just told it like it is.

That's gangster....

......and that may be himself....but its a punk act

............He's drawn a lot of down talk here.......because he disrespects the game

....

Like Mac pointed out, he was back to his normal self on the set with the analysts. Emotion is the key word here. If he disrespected anything it was Erin Andrews for not answering her other questions before he walked off lol, but other then that all he did was speak his mind. His play on the field speaks for itself.

I like players who aren't robots. Rich can get out of hand at times but most of the time he's just being himself, and if I recall correctly most of the people on this board were all on his jock when he came out and said he thought Andrew was the best QB in the NFL lol. People's perspectives change when they hear something they don't want to hear.

Never liked him and could care less of what he tought of Andrew.

I didn't even like it when he made that comment to Brady.

Speaking of Brady, I was hoping the two of them would reunite in the Super Bowl. The headlines leading up to the game would have been interesting to say the least.

If you want your kids acting like that guy, have it buddy. Did you see a true pro in peyton screaming at his critics after the game?

Read an above comment about how you're a terrible parent if you let an athlete like Sherman truly influence your child's behavior.

If you want to be a wuss of a parent and have that happen, it really isn't the players fault.

I was surprised that he felt obligated to create even more sensationalism when interviewed. I love him as a player and respect the trash talking on the field, but when he gets the opportunity for a post game interview on national television, he shouldn't react in such a way as to be immature and completely narcissistic...At some point in his career, he'll regret what he said tonight...

I wouldn't mind my son having a near perfect grade point average at one of the best schools in the country in a top problem, being a high level athlete, as well as a high level intellectual. I rather my son be overly confident than overly shy.

Sherman is showing his emotions. He was completely fine afterwards and showed why he's a great speaker and a smart guy when he was with the analysts. Don't judge a guy because he was emotionally charged after the biggest game of his career.

Exactly what he is doing. Taking something out of context, and making him seem horrible . Sherman is a standup guy who put in the effort on and off the field. Wow he trash talks a lot, big deal.

I think he's great myself. Best corner in the league. Talks junk but backs it up. He's hillarious!

Thank you! I thought it was hilarious. He backs up his game, and I know he does it a bit to get a rouse out of people, AND I probably wouldn't be saying this if he was talking about Reggie Wayne, but I love his confident attitude. It's part of what drives him... to be the best, and many would say he is.
