That's such a generic question nobody can really answer without a huge list of every intriguing prospect

Bradley Roby is my favorite DB prospect in the draft, so I'll have an eye on him. 

 

Trent Murphy, David Yankey and Tre Mason are other players I will watch closely.

From your list.....    I'm not sure we'll have any serious shot at the following...

 

Richardson, Yankey, Jackson, Murphy, Roby....     I think they'll all be off the board by the time our picks comes up

in the 2nd round...

 

I think Gardner is a 7th round pick or FA....   too small plus coming off a pectoral muscle injury that required surgery.

 

I think Gaffney is a 6/7 round pick....

 

I love Mason, but he's roughly 200 pounds and will likely not last beyond the 3rd round.   But I do love the kid.

 

Donald is a smallish 4-3 DT.    He's 6'0" and under 290.   A complete ill-fit for our 3-4.    Not a natural fit at any of the three down line spots...

 

I like the rest of the kids you list....   I really do.

 

I want defense with our first three picks......   that's a 2/3/5...

 

Then I want the best offensive player in R6 (preference to a guard or center)  unless there's a highly ranked defensive player

still on the board.

 

Then, in the 7th round, I just want the highest ranked player on either side of the ball.

 

We need to get younger, stronger, more physical and more athletic on the defensive side of the ball.   We looked overwhelmed in the first half against KC and for most of the game against NE.  

 

The priority must be on the defensive side of the ball!

 

I want quality veterans on offense to come from Free Agency.   A Center or Guard.   A Wide Receiver, or two.

 

I'll take another DL or CB/DB in FA, as well....   but I want the emphasis to be on offense.   We need people Luck can count on,  not rookies who may or may not pan out in their first year.

I think we should sign a center and a safety(probably either resign bethea or sign Jarius Byrd), and draft a receiver, corner, maybe a 3rd RB if Brown and Bradshaw aren't resigned, and get some D lineman either in free agency or the draft. In the second round I want either Bradley Roby or Jordan Mathews. I think Jordan Mathews would be a top 20 pick in most drafts, but this one has 3 really good ones(watkins, lee, evans) which may push Mathews back to our pick. I think he could be the future #1 on the outside, with Rogers on the other side and Hilton in the slot.

I haven't really started my offseason watch list because so much changes between now and the combine.  Probably won't get into it very heavily until after the combine.  I don't watch enough college film to really be able to add much.  But the offseason period is probably my favorite time all year. Combine, FA, the draft.  So much fun.
