The Patriots haven't won a road playoff game in 7 years. Everyone keep that in mind.

They haven't PLAYED a road playoff game in 7 years.

2007 - Top seed. Two home games.

2009 - Lost at home in Divisional Round to Baltimore.

2010 - Lost at home in Divisional Round to NYJ.

2011 - Won two home games, SB appearance.

2012 - Won divisional game, lost AFCCG at home.

Their last road playoff game was the loss to the Colts in 2006. Last win was the week prior against the top-seeded Chargers in San Diego.

Just so we're clear.  ;)

That's not true. They lost in 2005 to Denver. And they lost their 2 Super Bowls as well.

I missed the follow-ups...

SBs aren't considered "road" games. They effectively were, from a crowd standpoint, or at least it seemed that way... but to state "the Patriots haven't won a road playoff game in 7 years" is weak sauce. And you know it.  ;)

Point is they haven't won a game away from home in 7 years.

Ok 7 seasons then.

Right but that Super Bowls are a neutral field not a road game. They have lost more playoff games at home or a neutral field since 2001 then on the road. Only two road losses out of 7 were Denver and Indy.

The point was they haven't won a game away from Foxboro in 7 years.

4 games not at home since 2005. 0-4 in all of them.

Well 2 were a neutral site so it is really 0-2 on the road technically speaking. This season they are 8-0 at home and have the first game at home and could have the AFCCG as well if Denver loses. Not sure what it means at this point. If they were a WC and playing all three on the road then maybe you would have a stronger point but honestly they have lost as much at home (3), on the road (2) and at neutral site (2) since 2001. Pretty even steven.

Better.

Semantics, I know. I actually had to look it up to confirm, it's pretty crazy that it's been that long since they played a postseason game away from Gillette...

If you apply the same standards, how long has it been since Manning won a road playoff game? And Luck's never done it either. Neither of those things mean anything for 2013, though. Kind of like the fact that the Patriots haven't won a road/neutral site game in 7 years.
