It's a better story (for them of course) than "Hey, the colts won 12 games this year...again."

they've been saying for years that without Manning, the Colts are a 3 win team at best and now they're getting the opportunity to say "I told you so" even though QB play is not what has been losing us games.

I have actually noticed a lot less coverage of the Colts, there was a small uptick the last few days just becuase of the national embarrassment Sunday night. There is no longer a story.

It most certainly is. 15 1st downs per game is completely unacceptable and is the main reason the defense breaks down in the 2nd and 4th quarters. When Manning was the quarterback the Colts put up the most 1st downs per game the last 5 years. Now they are the 2nd worst in 1st downs per game. The team simply cannot maintain drives and that reflects on the quarterback.

I saw some positive comments at the world famous Indianapolis Star. The Colts are finally getting the running game going. And some of you were thinking this is a lost season.

Also, not to mention that the experts have been predicting our decline for about the last 5 years, so now that it's sort of happened it's like they can finally say they were right.
