Kerry Collins Will Start Next Game

I understand that Gonzo hasn't lived up to being a first round pick but I still remember him burning the chargers for some clutch plays as well as filling in very well for Marvin Harrison all season. I would never call his career a "sorry" one. But the way it seems to be ending is so quickly is sad.

Since our season is over, and Collins may retire next season anyways, I say just give all the reps, snaps, whatever to Painter. By exposing him to more experience, at least we can trade the kid for some late 7th round pick. With Collins, no matter how well he plays, no one will want him due to his age.

Well at least this means Collins wont deprive Painter of snaps. Again, I'd rather Painter have all the snaps so at least someone is gaining some level of productivity out of what we're doing.

As for Collins, this adds further incentive for him to call it a career, so I think he's done. I'll be surprised if he comes back.
