ok so we are at jax the last game of the season. given the way things are going right now, both teams will likely be out of the playoff hunt. "if" the colts are 0-15 and in position to get the first pick, does jax still try to win the game given the fact that they know we will "probably" take luck and be kicking their butts for another decade or so. are the colts trying to win that game?

There's no guarantee Luck would beat them, so that doesn't matter.

They will try to win, because it's a division rivalry (and Del Rio doesn't want to get fired THAT fast).

Disagree that they could care less. Even John Madden has now said Luck is the most proven thing to ever come out of college.

I disagree. Technically, every single college player is unproven, but teams are scouting and looking at them all year long. I don't think any scout or GM would ever say they don't care about player X just because he is in college and unproven. The Colts would still try to win, but the thought of drafting Luck will be one of the biggest thoughts on the minds of our scouts, GM and management.
