The Redskins have came out and said they are aggresively shopping Fred Davis. Grigson could offer a 7th rounder, condition of a 6th based on playing time. With Allen out we could use a blocking TE who could also become a dump-off guy if needed.

Doubtful but I wouldn't be shocked if he found a good bargain on a blocking TE.

I don't see any need for Fred Davis.  Is he any sort of improvement over Fleener?  If he is, he's not much of one.

 

In any case he would just be a stopgap until Allen comes back.  

 

Fred Davis just doesn't fill a need for us.
