Colts @ Bengals Game Day Thread

Recommended Posts

Greetings fellow Indianapolis Colts fans! Our Colts travel down Interstate 74 and are in Cincinnati as they play the 3-2 and improved Bengals. Kickoff at Paul Brown Stadium is scheduled right after 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time. Colts will continue to resiliant as they try to upset the Bengals to perhaps finally earn their first win this season, and perhaps inspiration by Peyton Manning's presence, whether he is at the press box or on the sidelines.

Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcotts will announce the Colts/Bengals game for the NFL On CBS, but only six CBS affiliates will televise the game regionally, including WISH CBS 8 in Indianapolis On HD. Colts/Bengals game is also blacked out in Cincinati. Bob Lamey, Wil Wolford, and sideline reporter Kevin Lee will also provide live radio game coverage simulcast on flagship stations WFNI ESPN SportsRadio 1070AM and WHNK Country 98.1FM, and the Colts Radio Network.

I also wish no injuries to the players on the field, and see both players and fans happy winning your first game of the 2011 season! GO COLTS!!!!!

Wow. Nobody yet? Well let me be the first. Go Colts! Beat the Bengals. It's a different kind of season, people. But we have to keep hope alive. I can't believe I just quoted Jesse Jackson.

As bad as it feels to be winless after five games, they are still only 3 games back in the division with 11 games left to play. The season is not dead yet. If they had two 5-0 teams in the division like the NFC North does, then I would concede defeat and say that it's over. This is not the position that we wanted to be in. You never want to be playing catchup going into the tough stretch of the schedule. I'm not willing to say "die" just yet, though.

Darrelle Revis is less than 6 feet tall. It's about positioning, not necessarily the size of the player

Is Dalton to Green the next great QB-WR combo?

Our defense will have then looking like pro bowl players before the game ends.

    • Sorry, I didn't get any update in notifications, should have checked your profile to see if you have created any new post. Growing pains of being new here. I'd you have time in the morning, let's start.   With the first overall draft pick, Cincinnati Bengals select   Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
    • @Nadine Please pin this thread for us. Thank you.
    • Feels like we are going to play more pressman coverage
    • With the draft fast approaching here is my one and only mock. I incorporated some trades in my mock this year because Ballard always seems to trade and I also think he will try to acquire more picks. My trades are reasonable and provide value.( I think)    Round 2: trade pick 34 to Browns for pick 41 and 115, select Denzel Mims, wr Baylor.    Round 2: trade pick 44 to Falcons for pick 47 and 119, select A.J. Terrell, cb Clemson.    Round 3: pick 75, Brycen Hopkins, te Purdue.    Round 4: pick 115, Calvin Throckmorton, ol Oregon.    Round 4: pick 119, Akeem Davis-Gaither, lb Appalachian St.    Round 4: pick 122, Trevis Gipson, de, Tulsa.    Round 5: pick 160, Parnell Motley, cb Oklahoma.    Round 6: pick 193, Terrell Burgess, s, Utah    Round 6: pick 197, Steven Gonzales, og, Penn St. Well, what do you think, I know the glaring omission in my draft is qb, but I just can't see spending a draft pick  on a player, regardless of who he may be, that doesn't have anymore potential than Chad Kelly. Lots of defense in my draft, and 2 o-linemen to try to soften the loss of Haeg. My favorite pick would be Motley, the dude can flat out play.
    • Hey,  I'm sorry Archer,  I've been meaning to respond to your post, but life has been crazy the last few days...     You make an interesting point that I'd like to address.    And much of what I'm about to write I'm paraphrasing from an NFL.com article from earlier in the week,  so it's not just me saying what I'm about to say,  it's NFL people too...   The reason to delay the draft?   Optics,  how it will look to millions.   As I'm sure you know,  the worst of the Virus is expected to hit in Mid-April.  NFL execs are worried that the worst death toll numbers will be the headlines on every newscast,  on every newspaper around the country during that time.    How does it look if in 30 NFL cities,  the news anchors are talking about the days top story --- record numbers of Carona deaths,  and suddenly one says....    "Now here's Bob to tell us about team's newest draft choice!"   The optics would be horrible.   That's why many withing the NFL wanted this moved at least into May and hopefully out of the window of the worst virus news.    The twin headlines would be the worst.    But Goodell has ruled and I'm sure you noticed that he asked NFL Execs to stop talking about it in the press.    You don't often hear/read that from Goodell.   I hope Goodell is not making a terrible mistake.    We'll soon find out.   I know people are starving for some fun and good news,  but the timing couldn't be worse, and that's the reason to move it,  even if only two 2-3 weeks.    But that's not happening....   Again,  sorry for the delay in getting back to you....
