Irsay is embarrasing

Recommended Posts

This guy is a joke to Indiana.  Peyton made football relevant in Indiana. Irsay is a rich boy's son who never worked a hard day in his life. I'm thinking he started to hit the bottle pretty hard again, actually that would be a good excuse for his comments.  Funny, he mentioned all those other teams with multiple SuperBowl wins.  They all had a DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Irsay and Polian failed to put a full team together each season, Peyton put those crappy Colts teams on his back year after year.

Your comment doesn't even make sense.  Your saying it is a negative to have the best QB of all time on your team. That is exactly what you are Mr. Irsay are saying.  If you say its because of money, then you'll end up hating Luck as well because if he becomes the player he should then he'll get a big contract too.  Then you'll want to dump him for a "total team".

TFunky, you are the first person in history to think that having Manning on a team is a bad thing.

I'll be glad when this game/week is over

:groan:

You should be glad when Irsay deletes his Twitter account and blames himself for the lack of SuperBowl Wins and not just one player.

So much for "the buck stops here" with Mr. Irsay.  He'll just throw anyone under the bus, including the one man who made his life relevant.

Without Peyton, Irsay's beloved Twitter Account would have 1/3 the followers.

Your missing the point. But maybe we can discuss it once you stop whining like a little school girl. Peyton will always be my favorite player, but.... GET OVER IT!!!! Either ride with the team or be gone.

LOL, nice insult.  I'm thinking you didn't get the point. Please re-read or expain how only 1 superbowl is Peyton's fault.

I'm thinking you had your mind made up before you read what was said, and saw what you wanted to confirm your opinion.

I didn't go in with an opinion, or come away sharing yours.

You're the one who's deduced that it's Peyton's fault.

I didn't read that in Irsay's comments.

I think you either skipped, or added dots that weren't there, to come to your conclusion.

You think losing in the playoffs was all Peyton's fault then?

Well, every year was different, but I know the TEAM lost many playoff games, and Peyton was on those TEAMS.

Peyton wasn't the whole problem, but, at times, he shared blame.

    • These are the kinds of dumb posts you get over at Youtube. I was reading the gameday thread of Cubs and Reds. Cubs fans were enjoying the moment with their posts and a Reds fan said we are in 2nd place and you guys haven't done anything since 2016. I about fell out of my chair here at work. "Haven't done anything since 2016", that is comical. By that logic the Reds haven't done anything since 1990. Cards haven't even won a WS since 2011. The Cubs just won the Division last year. Reds are 1.5 games ahead of the Cubs and we are in sell mode , it isn't like the Reds are 10 games ahead. By the way I like the Reds but some fans in general ruin it. Some people are so jealous over the Cubs being great over the last 6 years that it is comical. Brewers fans can put a zipper on it period until they win a WS, until then they are irrelevant to any kind of greatness discussion. I just ignore their hate because it isn't worth my time, they are the worst  .
    • I just seen Javy's walk off. Don't poke the bear of a Champion is all I can say - As Homer would say that Garrett character had it coming
    • I think many understand why Luck retired but many will agree it was just the timing of it. He had everyone believing he was going to play in 2019. He should've just made announcement soon after losing to KC in the playoffs. That would've been before the draft. A simple, I talked it over with my wife and I am just in too much pain play anymore. That would've been good enough for everyone IMO.    One thing too that nobody mentions is he replaced a top 3 QB of all-time and the expectations coming out of college for Luck was, he will be close to what Manning was. So of course a lot of people were upset and disappointed when he stepped away. We expected a SB win from Luck as fans.
    • I also think the fact he was about to become a dad just made him go you know there is way more to life than football.  He already had some of that before he got to the NFL but I think becoming a father might have pushed him over the edge too.  No one wants to not be able to do things with your kids because of pain.
    • If I confused anyone with this post, I meant they will replay the games and not just have it be a forfeit according to how Acho was talking. I suck and posting links and video but you guys can youtube first take and see it. Thanks.
