Question of the Day - 10/11 "Blue Friday"

  Happy "Blue Friday" Colts fans:

 

Last Sunday on the "NFL Today" on CBS - former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher proclaimed that "this Colts defense is for real".

 

   Do you agree with Cowher - OR - are you concerned by the fact that the Colts D has been gashed for 100 rushing yards twice by "mobile quarterbacks"  ??

I think we're 'real enough'.  Mobile QBs did not beat us (unless you count Tannyhill), so we were good enough.

 

I don't think we have an elite D.  I don't think anyone in the NFL has one, nor ever will again unless they start changing rules.  A championship D only has to be good enough, middle of the road.  Ours fits that description.

 

Locker may be the only mobile QB we'll see again until the SB.

The D survived against the mobile QBs and won't have to deal with them again until Locker or in the Super Bowl if they get there. It is a much improved D but I want to see how they do against top tier QBs like Manning and Rivers (he is having a great year).

They seem to be up and down to me.  I think the game against Denver will tell us how good our D is.

The D is better.  Still not perfect but much better than what they have been in recent memory.

The D is playing better then ever, but i wont feel good about it until Werner, or whoever can start playing more consistant oppisite of Mathis. The secondary is better then it has ever been.
