BleedBlue4life
If they do end up signing Nnamdi, tha jets defense is gonna be nasty. I mean, forget throwing outside all together...
ColtFan48
How the heck do they stay under the cap?
NYColt
Too bad they still have Mark Sanchez at QBAdditionally, they still have gaping holes at the OLB position - where will they generate their pass-rush from? Last year, contrary to popular belief, they played alot of zone and actually did not generate that many sacks or create many turnoversThat team will only go as far as Sanchez will take them. Plus they can't keep everyone - Edwards easily had his best year last year, even if the stat sheet doesn't show it and losing him would affect the continuity / growth of the offense ..on the other hand, if there's one coach that can get the best out of Randy Moss for his final act in his career, it's Rex unfortunately

NYColt
their qb took a pay cut:)He's restructuring, not taking less money - it's similar to what Peyton did a few years ago. NFL athletes aren't charities.

ViriLudant
The 49ers are pushing hard to sign him now. Hopefully that works out.Whatever happened to the Texans? They were the rumored favorites before today.
NYColt
Santonio Holmes contract is EXTREMELY cap-friendly ..only $2.5 million this yearTannenbaum is showing himself to be one of the premiere GMs in the league right up there with Polian, Ozzie and Ted Thompson
ReMeDy
Good, more ammo for the Jets. Tom Brady wont be having an MVP season if this happens!
21isSuperman
Part of me wants to see Asomugha in NY just so they can hold down the Pats, but I would much rather the Pats win than the Jets. If the Jets do sign Nnamdi, man, that will be a wicked defense. Moss is washed up and he is now irrelevant, Sanchez is very inconsistent at QB. Here's hoping the Pats destroy the Jets and the Jets don't even make the playoffs.
indy_nick
I would rather him to go NY than the Texans. Keep that beast out of our division! I wish he would go to the NFC, but that won't happen, so we will probably have to see him in the playoffs regardless.
GoPats
This year? The Jets have made it to two consecutive AFC Championship Games... I'd say they've been trouble for a while now!An Aso-Revis tandem at CB almost seems unfair, lol! But what will that do to the rest of the team? That's a lot of money to tie up on two guys, and the cap is something GMs have to think about again. It was such a non-factor for the past five years or so. Matt105
One thing I have to say is that it's good to have options. If Revis and Nnamdi have Reggie and Pierre covered, then we still have Austin and Dallas. I still have to say though, that's gonna be a crazy D to face. 21isSuperman
Tampa has apparently put an offer down that the jets can't match.I thought the only teams left in the race for Nnamdi were the 49ers and Jets now that the Texans are out. I haven't heard anything about the Bucs offering him something.
