Welcome back for another Sunday here in the Colts Strong Online Fan Community Colt fans! :)  Our Indianapolis Colts are back at LOS as they host the improve, 4-0, and undefeated Seattle Seahawks in and NFC West interconference matchup at LOS.  Seahawks are lead by their Head Coach Pete Carroll, and QB Russell Wilson

Both Indianapolis and Seattle are meeting for the eleventh all-time regular season game this afternoon, with the Colts leading the series with 6 wins and 4 losses, and a rivalry which began when the-then Baltimore Colts defeated the Seahawks 29-14 in Seattle's second NFL  season in the  back on September 18, 1977.

LOS's roof will be closed  to protect everyone inside the stadium for this afternoon's 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff.  Showers and cloudy skies at 60 degrees is the local gametime forecast in Downtown Indianapolis around the stadium area, along with  79% humidity, 40% precipitation, and west/southwest winds at 10 miles per hour.

Kevin Burkhart,  John Lynch, and sideline reporter Erin Andrews,  are announcing the game for The NFL On FOX seen regionally, and locally in Indianapolis on WXIN FOX 59, live on HD

Visiting Seahawks are wearing the road white jerseys, and navy blue pants, while the host Colts are wearing their blue jerseys, and white pants.

All NFL players throughout the month of October are wearing pink with  their team uniforms and apparel, both on the field, and in the sideline to recognize the NFL's support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

NO injuries to both the Colts and Seahawks, and hope the Colts win their fourth game in 2013.  Stay Colts Strong with the leadership of GM Ryan Grigson, Head Coach Chuck Pagano, and QB Andrew Luck, and GO COLTS!!!   :coltslogo:  :cheer:  :excited:    :blueshoe:  :coltshelmet:  :coltshorse:  :coltsfb:  :colts:  :1colts:  :coltslogo:   :cheer:   :D

Does anyone know where I can find out why today's game is once again not televised by Comcast in my viewing area (north central Indiana), a HUGE Colts Nation population?  Who makes the decision and assumes I would rather watch NE vs CIN? Yep, we are * again!

Not on fox channel? I'm in Fort Wayne and that's what it says for me.

Thanks again for setting the table for today's game, LOS! I think Shakedownstreet already has the menu items picked out, haha. I also chime in with the "no injuries" sentiment.

In a nutshell, the keys to the game are the protection we get from the OL, and containment on Wilson. We have to play 60 minutes of Colts football to win this one. A slow start like last week will be costly against these guys.

Go Colts, all day, every day!!

    • I think he paid Johnathan Hankins about 10M per year(30/3) in his first free agency when he was remaking the whole defense.  In 2019 he signed Justin Houston for 24/2... and Devin Funchess for 13M...  In 2020 - Rivers... In 2021 - none In 2022 - Gilmore In 2023 - none
    • How the heck did I miss that?! Wow
    • It is fact. You do understand where the money to pay player salaries and such comes from right? I mean it’s right there in the CBA…   the league basically places the money in an escrow account every year directly from the league, which is a portion of the revenue set aside for player salaries from the leagues various sources(tv deals for example). It never touches the owners pockets first.  Jim Irsay could have only 10 cents in his account and it wouldn’t matter when it comes to player salaries.  yes, guaranteed monies and such have to be put in upfront but if you read the fine print, that money is basically reimbursed the to the team the year it’s paid out. So 2025 guarantees would be paid back to the team in 2025 from the player salaries fund.    and yes, I’ve linked it every year for the past 5-6 years. Ever since the beginning of the Ballard era, which seems to be when this notion of Irsay not having cash for this or that came up as a rationale for not signing big name FA. It’s not though when one actually looks up how that all works.
    • Looking at OTC now.  Seems like we may have around 10-12M cap space left to go after players in FA.  Do the Colts sign I player or break it down to a few small signings.  Still seeing who is available and limited on time.  Still am high on WR Quez Watkins and seeing the Dolphins are also interested in him.  Watkins played under Shane and figured he would be one of his targets in FA.     Both SS, assuming Cross is the starter, but FS is main focus and probably in the draft.   Not sold one too many true FS from college and sure you seen prior post about how slow these CBs are and a move to FS probably best for their career in the NFL.  Especially Khyree Jackson who has a lot of the overall skill set of Cooper DeJean and might be a viable option later in the draft.
