Freeney holding no call

Correct me if I am wrong but the no call on Freeney being held when he went and played LDE against Youngblood I think it is. Was that not the turning point of the game? If they throw the flag then the Colts D probably holds and Painter could have come back and lead a scoring drive.

Terrible no call. Was glad the MNF crew made a big deal about it because for years tackles have been getting away with that on Freeney and the public should see what us Colts fans see game after game year after year.

Sadly it won't make a difference. Our ends get hold up all the time when rushing the passer. If the refs where consistent with the holding calls we would either see opposing offenses get flagged or sacked all the time.

It's like the facemask non-call in The Longest Yard. You know the penalty is there and that the refs see it. They just don't call it.

Freeney gets held A LOT without it being called.

There was a great interview on Jim Rome a while ago. I seem to remember the officials telling him that they weren't going to call it if it didn't affect the play. He and Rome couldn't figure out what that was about.

Freeney is unblockable. Seems like your options are get to the quarterback or holding.

meh...this is semantics. We had TB penalties feeding us the whole game.

The only viable "turning point" was the Blount TD stroll. Conner messed up and fell out of his gap. Conner actually had a dreadful game, it wasn't his only goof.

Turning point = tie breaking, game winning loooooong TD run. I don't see how anyone could argue against that successfully.

let me try.

Our turning point was when our new safety (who shall go nameless) dropped an easy interception in the end zone with us leading 10-0...

...Tampa scores on the next play and its a game..

Turning point was when there was no call on the hit that Peyton took. Remember that one. Officals call what they want when they want.

They need to do their job.
