@andrewmishler: T.Y. Hilton has had a fantastic practice. Catching everything thrown his way and separating well against the first-team D.

The receiving corp. is going to be awesome this season, knock on wood: stay healthy, protect Luck & hopefully Bradshaw runs so well that the play action passes will be deadly!

Forget Greg Toler, we better let Laron Landry hit someone before he explodes :Nuke:

:funny:

HMMMM...maybe we could fly in Aaron Hernandez  :fear:  :ninja:  :hide:  :peek:  :burnout: We gone........................

@andrewmishler: WR depth is probably overrated for this team. Fleener and Allen have been targeted a ton on downfield routes out of the slot.

2012 drop rate:

TY Hilton: 16.1%

DHB: 12.8%

@andrewmishler: Lanear Sampson with the catch of the day. He held onto a deep pass from Hasselbeck as he fell down along the sideline. D. Allen later scored

Was just thinking out loud. Fleener reminda me of Matt Jones, I just dont trust him. Allen is a beast, forget these 2 te sets. Only need 1

Matt Jones without the crack was a good player lol.

I personally am not worried about either one of them......they both will improve...this offense is going to scare the entire league.  Get across the 50.....and get points on the board 'just like that.'

I love the use of the TEs as well...best weapon in football.   :colts:  :colts:  :colts:

@andrewmishler: Justice Cunningham limps off the field. Was only down on the ground for a few seconds.

Hope everyone doesn't mind the continual updates from Twitter

Injury for Cunningham doesn't seem that bad. Seemed fine since he was only down for a few seconds.

No bleeping way. Peyton had a rifle and was better at sqeezing the ball into tight spots. Luck may be able to throw it farther, but who cares about that? Peyton was more accurate and able to throw through smaller windows.

Yes :censored2:  Way  . Dude I like 18 very much as a rookie Andrew Luck was better than Peyton Manning was his first year .

Plus now with Pep Hamilton as OC  Andrew Luck will surpass 18 who by the way does not have a rifle more like a strong peashooter .

Peyton was more accurate and able to throw through smaller windows.

Correct but not his rookie season . Advantage LUCK

DHB, Wane, & Hilton  +  I Disagree strongly!

1) I don't understand what targeting the tight ends has to do with WR depth.

2) I don't know who is rating WR depth very high to begin with. We're basically three deep, with question marks on DHB and relying on Hilton to make improvement. No one is claiming the Colts are super deep at receiver.

DHB not having a good couple of days so far. 2 drops yesterday and 1 today.  Can't have it.

Sounds like Fleener and  Hilton though have had great days today.

@KBowenColts: Andrew Luck a strong finish to 11-on-11 work, with a string of 8 straight passes but Darius Butler gets the last laugh with a goal line pick

@KBowenColts: T.Y. Hilton the highlight offensively on Day Two with several catches, including an over the shoulder diving grab near the far sideline.

@KBowenColts: On the other side of the ball, Butler and Kavell Conner had their hands in multiple pass deflections

#Colts' best offensive player today couldn't be more obvious. TE Coby Fleener has been exceptional.

@gmbremer: Andrew Luck finishes 27-43 with no TDs and an INT. Darius Butler got the INT again. #ColtsCamp

Cut him. Can't have this garbage completion %.

Get me a guy who can have a perfect practice once in awhile please.

I know you're just kidding; 63% isn't garbage. But I tend to think of this as a positive. I think it says something about our secondary that this offense isn't quite clicking just yet. Both Luck and Hasselbeck were reportedly a little off early on.

I'm not concerned about the passing numbers, our secondary will be one of the best in the league this year. It's been awhile since we had the combination of talent and coaching back there we do now.

Fleener's going to make a lot of people eat crow this year. If he's healthy, he will develop into a force and really put the overreaction to his rookie season in perspective.

    • I had us 9-7 just based on guessing/hoping/predicting Luck would be healthy and play great. I was right but a lucky guess, I guess  . I thought that would get us a 6th seed. We won 10 games which got us in.
    • For the first time in a while, I am impressed with the Colts development of players. If this current trend continues, a lot of opinions will change.
    • I had us going 10-6 and winning the AFC South. I knew with Luck back we'd be at minimum .500, and I thought by adding Nelson, Ebron, and Cain, our O would be pretty decent, and enough to take the South. We were 10-6, but didn't win the South.  I wasn't counting on our D being as good, so I guess they overachieved. Honestly I'm still not sold on our D. This year will be a much bigger test.
    • There appears to be a possibility that the Pacers acquire 31-year-old Eric Gordon, the shooting guard for the Rockets.   Houston wants Jimmy Butler but they don't have cap space to sign him. The 76ers would have to sign Jimmy and trade him to Houston. But Houston cant send the 76ers matching salaries because Philadelphia already has to sign Tobias Harris, JJ Reddick and soon Embid and Ben Simmons..   So the 76ers and Houston have to find a third team who could acquire some salary. In the theory of this trade: That team would be the Pacers who would take the final year of Eric Gordon's contract at $15 mil   Obviously, Gordon is an IU grad and Indianapolis native. He comes off the Houston bench behind Chris Paul and James Harden. 16.2 per game last year and 16.7 for his 11-year career..   Forgetting how crazy Houston's locker room would be with Paul, Harden and Butler, is there a downside to acquiring Gordon, who would start until Oladipo returns? We might have to give up next year's No.1 pick.
    • Here is a serious question, does anyone want to win the NL Central? I mean seriously  . We are winning it but just give games away like the Brewers and Cards do as well.
