I guarantee you if the NFL started over tomorrow with every player in the pool and the draft happened....        A Rodgers would be the first pick and Luck would be second.

He is the real deal, if you cannot see it then ....   go root for Jax.

Waaaaaay too high.. List is worthless

I like Andrew Luck as much as anyone on this forum, but to claim that he was the 23rd best player this past year is just wrong.

One could argue Wayne or Luck for MVP last season..

I disagree.  I think what Peterson did was unbelievable.  Luck and Wayne made great contributions, but Arians did a lot for the team as well, as did Manusky.  What did Christian Ponder do for the Vikings?  In a QB-driven league, every single player knew AP was getting the ball and they still couldn't stop him.  And that was him after coming back from getting half his knee torn.

Given Rodgers age, he might be second.  I don't care about the list, it's an off season time filler.

Doug Martin had 1,900 YFS, Eric Weddle and Jarius Byrd are the 1st and 2nd best safeties in the league, Kyle Williams is the 2nd best DT in the league behind Geno Atkins, Roddy White still just had a 1,300, 10 TD season, Navarro Bowman is the 2nd best MLB in the league behind Patrick Willis, and Tillman is the best zone-corner in the league.

I guess Jennings is questionable but that's about it.

EDIT: And Morris set the rookie record for rushing yards in a season and Duane Brown was the best LT in football this year.

It's how important they were to their team and how they played luck was one of the most important players in his

If that were the case the top 20 players would be QBs. This list is supposed to be all positions equal.

That is just not true at all. Like Dustin said, Top 20 is QBs only, if that was the case.

Andrew Luck had a good year, but let's assume he has the same stats looking forward, would you still rank him #23 in 5 years?

Depends..... Is he still leading 5 or 6 game winning drives? There is more to who is the better player than who has the prettier stats

    • Seems like this team gets a lot of untimely injuries that come out of nowhere. Smith and Kelly, Lewis injuries just appeared out of nowhere. None of those injuries were even mentioned after the Bears game.
    • Yep. He must of woke up Thursday with it. I assume Pinter will play center if he can’t go. That tackle slot is worrisome if smith can’t go. The defense is looking ridiculously banged up.
    • QB is hard.  It's easy to sit back and expect guys to look like Marino but every QB has a different ceiling and a different path to that ceiling.  And again getting there is a long and tough road and the toughness in that road includes everything from injuries to quality of the team around them.   Richardson still looks like the guy we saw on tape in college.  He is an elite run threat who can put the ball anywhere on the field, but his consistency in ball placement is not good.  I used to believe that can't be fixed.  Until Josh Allen.  Now these types of QBs are guys teams will take a flyer on, because of supply and demand, and the immense impact if you can hit on one of them.  But here we are and he's still the same QB, which is a bit of a concern to me at this point.   It's not like he doesn't still have time to get his game in order.  He does.  And even if he fails in Indy he'll have another chance with another team due to his talent level.  So it's still too early to get all crazy about where he's at.   For myself I'll say what I keep saying about him: he needs to learn to move the offense from the protection of the pocket.  That is how you have a long career and end up in the Hall with a million passing yards.  If he does not develop that part of his game the end result will be his teams will use his legs to move the offense and he'll get hurt and miss time and demonstrate why RBs have such a short shelf life.  So his career is in his hands.  He has to learn and do it or he'll suffer the results.
    • I wonder how Kelly got his neck injury he seemed fine and even practiced on Wednesday right,
    • Seems like every time the Colts face the Steelers the OL gets injured smh.
