And exactly what has Jones showed?

1 catch for 8 yards in 6 games.

why wouldn't it be Jones, what did he prove last year? I realize Cunningham was a 7th round pick but I dont think Grigson is interested in wasting a draft pick on a player that he dont think has a shot to make the team

You guy's need to realize there are receiving TE's and there are blocking TE's. Saunders and Jones were here for blocking purposes and an occasional catch or 2. Fleener and Allen are the receiving TE's. Jones' stats have absolutely nothing to do with his value to the team.

Hmm how football stupid do you really think I am not to know the difference? Cunningham can do both but is known blocking

We should have taken a CB

I would imagine we will sign multiple CBs as UDFAs.....not much difference from the final pick of the draft. We just guaranteed that we get first crack at Cunningham. There will also be training camp cuts......not the end of the world.

You were the one saying Jones didn't prove anything. I can't really remember, but I think he was only brought in from the PS when Saunders was injured. I'm fairly sure we only had 3 active TE's which means that Cunningham would be battling Saunders for the last TE spot. Saunders excels at blocking because he's huge. Listen, if want to believe that Cunningham will be here, then go ahead, but I'm betting he don't make the cut.

I want to complain that.......well.......there just isn't enough to complain about! See here....I live to complain!

In my world, it's either my view or my way......or it's wrong! I wish you happy people that are all "faithful", and

trust the Colts......well I think they're blowing it! Here me? Blowing it!

:headspin:

Lol.......I just had to try that lifestyle on for a second. Now I need to go shower cuz I feel dirty.

its a TE. im pretty sure we can find someone else to play on STs

Dude, there is no reasoning with you. Like a TE can't be on special teams?  This guy excelled on special teams play so you think you know better than Grigson? The Colts past history with special teams has been very poor. There is more to a team than just the offense and defense. Colts special teams of the past have cost us a lot of wins.

From what I read he was a Mr reliable for his team. He didn't make a whole lot of catches in his career but when the ball was thrown his way he caught it just about every time. And they say as has already been mentioned that he is a superb blocker. One thing I read said you could probably already call him the best blocking TE on our now. I'm not gonna go that far yet. He's gotta prove himself. This guy could have an impact though. Especially in the end zone a guy who can be reliable as he was and his size........ OH Yeah!!!!!

Wouldn't be surprised though if he makes the PS. He's battling a guy who's been on the team for a year, and looked pretty good considering he didn't get too much time. That's tough to beat, but if he can make the PS, I think he'd be happy.

    • Fries has proven to be a diamond find.  Figure our salary cap will determine how our OL future pans out. Starting WRs are some of the best in the league.  Can AR connect with them like Menshew done?    TE room wouldn’t mind adding Fannin but team needs devalue him as BPA.  Conyers is great in run blocking and can catch hoping falls to R4-6 range.    DL help is a major area of need agreed.  Think I had a Day 3 initial grade on NT Rene Konga but each week he has impressed.  Between Konga and Michigan’s Benny probably our two best choices for Stewart’s role.  See my recent Week 4 top 10-15 players posted especially for LB and DB options.
    • I would personally like to see more bootlegs, and more throws on the run. AR is SO good at that.   Especially since they love playing out of shotgun so much.
    • Army is playing mistake free football, very impressive so far. One of a handful of unbeaten Group of 5 schools.
