  1. 1. Does this make him a top 96 pick in you eyes?

    • Yes, now that he's been given the all clear
      5
    • No, still too many issues for me
      7
    • Was already a top 96 pick for me
      9
  2. 2. Would you draft him (not necessarily for the Colts)

    • Yes, great upside despite past problems
      7
    • Maybe, only if he slips to the 4th-5th round
      6
    • No, too many issues to look past
      8

as Mike Golic has said countless times on mike and mike in the morning... the combine drug test is the "stupid test" if you fail that test, with millions of dollars on the line, that you know is coming for months/years even, you sir are an *.

personally I don't think them passing a combine drug test makes a difference, especially when dealing with a serial offender like Mathieu. You have to hear them speak, see the passion in them when they say they have reformed and our past that stuff, and they are moving forward with their life in order to believe it.

If you don't believe them when you speak to them, then it changes nothing about his history in your eyes. The combine test is irrelevant to me/my evaluations unless you fail. Because then as I said previously, you failed the stupid test, and I am not sure you can control yourself in anyway, why should I consider drafting you?

I doubt Tyrann Mathieu makes it past round 2. That is all I have to say.

Teams will not take a chance on him with a 5 yr. contract for first rounders but any team with vet. CBs or established outside CBs that need a nickel CB in a pass happy division, like the NFC South, will go for him before round 2 is done.
