For Lester it is hard to look at the ST start and think much of it. He is ramping up and thus his velocity wont be as high and he is normally working on more specific things. Also, there was some bad play by defense that cost him baserunners and then runs. With our regular in (Rizzo at first mostly I mean) They most likely wouldnt have had the same stats up as they did. If his velocity isnt fully back by the end of ST then there is worry.
It would make sense but the fact that he moved to Tampa makes me really question it. If Tampa is done with Winston they have a fairly talented team as well and a well respected coach in BA.
I'd be pretty happy to get Rivers because I believe he could make us contenders and mentor someone behind him for a couple years.
I'm just hoping he's not going for any of the band aid fixes, like Rivers or Brady. I'd rather get a prospect to sit behind Jacoby for a year. It could push JB, and if he shows anything, he'd at least have some trade value.
I don't expect Ballard (or anyone in the Colts organization) to say anything even slightly informative prior to the draft. No smart GM is going to do that.
