Awesome...thanks for posting. I've been kinda tuned out of the football world for a few months (as is my custom) so I haven't had a chance to really look at our changes 'on paper' yet.

Is it just me or is this squad looking really really good pre-draft?

If we drafted Teo....... I would..... I would...... it's so outrageous that I can't even think what'd I'd do.

We better not draft him! Him & his invisible girlfriend & being taken out of the biggest game so far in his life on national television. Just makes me sick!

I think I may literally do some projectile vomiting if they called his name when we picked.

I think there are 31 other team boards with the same post. Undoubtedly one board will be * on draft day. If it was day 2...I think there would be no problem.

The only thing I enjoyed more than watching Bama destroy them this year was watching my Buckeyes feast on Brady Quinn a few years ago.

---- one of the 55%

You like BAMA and Ohio State? That's like saying I like the Thunder and the Heat. Either way you win.

Hopefully a team like the Jags or someone take him before he drops to the 20's. I don't want Grigson getting any ideas if he's still there come our pick

45% of the Indy fans polled wanted Te'o??? No thanks!

I'm hardly a Notre Dame fan, but I think he is a solid prospect.   I see a lot of angst on here about the possibility but I see very little actual explanation for it. Because he didn't run a blazing speed? The girlfriend fiasco?

As a Buckeye living in Bama, and with kids going to school there, I have to support them somewhat. But I told them that if OSU plays Bama in Pasadina next January that I'll FaceTime them from the game. While wearing my Buckeye gear.

I couldn't stand the fake girlfriend thing and think he was either in on it the whole time or he is a really dumb individual, but the thing I don't like about him the most is that he has admitted to folding under pressure twice. Once in the national championship game and then at the combine. I want players that thrive under pressure, not cave to it.

It's a good thing you aren't in any kind of control of a football team , basing a guys prospects on one game and dismissing the entire career. You can do that for any number of college players.

Newsflash, you can go through a lot of college players careers that became good players and find any number of bad games under the spotlight. He didn't fold at the combine, what are you talking about? He was solid in drills and ran a little above what was expected in the 40 , but who cares, it's the 40, not actual football. Geez, your a harsh critic. Just say you don't like him, or come up with some relevant reasons for what you say.

Wrong sir. He performed much worse than anybody expected at the combine. Where have you been? They made a huge deal out of it everywhere and then he admitted at a press conference that he couldn't deal with the stress and let it get to him. He also admitted that about the NC game. He folds under pressure and admits it himself.

I just watched it this week on the DVR and Mayock said he was solid. They were saying the whole time he was on the drills he was doing allright . He is not the kind of player that's going to blow up the measurable period . He is average at most these things. But for the most part he was a good ballplayer and I don't care what the heck he did at the combine.

If we keep our first rounder...I think we would have to be targeting bpa...and most likely a WR or OG that could step in and start. Outside those two positions I don't think we have another position on the team that necessarily needs an imediate starter to step in. I mean I think we need depth at OLB, ILB, CB, and C but OG and WR we need a starter imo.

I just don't want him on this team at all! And he doesn't even fit our 3-4 Defense. Might as well keep Angerer if we're gonna draft him. I do believe ND ran a 4-3 on defense (could be wrong). So why take a 4-3 LB & put him in a 3-4?

wrong my friend. ND runs a 3/4 and he started out at the sam lber then moved to inside. And for those who wanna keep angerer are going to be very dissappointed with his play this year. Hes a tampa two lber and doesnt fit here at all. He also is very poor in coverage while teo excels in coverage. I would be ecstatic if we draft him!

I never said I wanted him . I just think he gets a lot of heat he don't deserve . I think he might make a pretty good player and might justify a late 1st round pick that's all.

    • Our defense will never be GREAT as long as we play * defense by having corners 10 yards off the ball on 3rd and 3. And an unbelievable unwillingness to blitz more than 4 times a game. And also, it doesn't matter who is in the secondary if the front seven can't stop the run(we can) and get to the passer(we did ok getting to the passer, but we need more blitzing from lb'ers). Our first pick should be an offensive lineman like Fuaga, Powers-Johnson, or Barton. Then target a receiver like Polk, Pearsall, Washington, Corley, or Roman Wilson in the second or third rounds. As much as I would like to get Bowers I just don't see it happening. And we need a very good linebacker to go along with Speed and Franklin.
    • Yeah, could very well be. I think I remember Ballard said he did it to have more flexibility when asked. if it is Paye, I would rather see him play out the year before extending.
    • The idea of DeJean going in the late first round is due to his instincts and overall very competent play in nearly all aspects of DB play.  Cover 3 FS is more valuable, IMO, than a cover 2 FS.   Contrast DeJean's overall RAS and talents with Hooker, who was only good at being a single high deep guy...especially his rookie year where he picked off bad QBs for a while...and DeJean at 22 or later with a 3rd round pick gathered from a trade down is a much better decision than Hooker was at 15.   BTW, Blackmon had the same ACL injury as Hooker and did well as an overall S as a rookie, but wasn't a single high speed guy, and is probably still a better overall S now than Hooker is in DAL...both having the exact same injury years ago.
    • To the bolded, I don't constantly hear that. I see people say it on the Internet. It was a big thing when we were looking for a HC, how candidates would be scared off because of how the Reich/Saturday thing went, Irsay's meddling, etc. One specific theory was Sirianni would tell Steichen not to take the Colts job. We see how that went.   Does Irsay's history negatively impact the team? I'd like to know if there's any examples where you think it has.
    • Some are not understanding this. Have a feeling there will be an upset group after Thursday night. Give AR every opportunity to succeed by surrounding him with weapons. If Pittman was to miss a few weeks, it would be bad. Tbh we should draft offense the 1st and 2nd rounds. Sign a Simmons and a vet corner.
