boy do i have a problem next week at rb choose three

mathews vs jags

blount vs panthers

sproles vs lions

kevin smith vs saints

d-will vs bucs

i also have mcgahee, but i dont like his matchup vs the vikings

i decided on blount,mathews,williams

Ok here's my question:

Pick 3 for my 3 receiver spots

Vincent Jackson vs Jac

Larry Fitzgerald vs Dal

Laurent Robinson vs Ari

Jordy Nelson vs NYG

AJ Green vs Pit

I'd go with Fitz, Robinson (if Austin is out) and Nelson.

Regarding VJax - Jags do play the pass well and though their top CB Mathis is down, they don't allow long completions. However, their LBs hate covering TEs - so I expect Gates to have a better game than VJax. Besides, Rivers in his last game, cut down on his INTs and let Ryan Mathews and the running game dominate. To beat the Jags, you need to run the ball well which is what I expect the Chargers to do and convert a lot of intermediate throws which is where Gates will flourish.

Regarding Nelson - Webster is the Giant's best CB and the Giants normally give more looks & touches to the #2 WR than the #1 WR unless your #1 is Fitzy or Megatron in which case they are on a separate level than VJax. The matchup with the Giants is better, so I would play Jordy Nelson over VJax.

Kind of a random question, but Sebastian Janikowski is still available in my league and I don't know if I should drop David Akers for him. Akers is the #1 fantasy kicker and Janikowski is 5 but he missed a game which hurt his numbers. But anyone who has the possibility of scoring 15-20 points I feel like is worth it. Thoughts.

It is hit and miss with kickers. One game, John Kasay's FF value is affected by the fact that his team scores a lot of TDs, the next game vs the Lions, the Saints may give Kasay more FG opportunities, it is hard to predict.

Look at their schedules and the Ds they will be going against. If you think the 49ers can move the ball vs those Ds, keep Akers. If not, take the chance with Janikowski.

i might swap wells for williams just because of the matchup

The age old warning of relying on Mike Shanahan backs is what I will give you. Buyer beware :). If you think Maurice Morris will be in a timeshare with Kevin Smith even after Kevin Smith comes back, go ahead and do it. Unfortunately, I never got to see Kevin Smith play in the Packers game, I missed it, so not sure how he fared vs a decent run D of the Packers. I know the numbers but just not how good he looked w.r.t explosiveness.

I stick with what you got, can't trust D williams at all. Don't judge his performance last week, it was VS us.

I would. Dez Bryant normally gets the safety over the top and because of DeMarco Murray, a safety has to play closer to the line of scrimmage leaving Laurent Robinson mostly one on one.

You sir, were right :). I got burned playing DeAngelo Williams vs a real good matchup. I have Aaron Rodgers, David Akers, DeMarco Murray, MJD & Antonio Gates to go - hopefully those folks can salvage my game for me. Could have started Reggie Bush or Beanie Wells easily and I messed up. No more chasing fads at this point in the season.

C'mon DeMarco Murray!!! I could get the #1 seed if I win and the division leader loses which it looks like he will. I'm up by 9 right now and he has Jimmy Graham and I have Drew Brees YTP so I'll win :D

my opponent and i are battling for the 1st seed. im up by 11 and still have cal,graham, and kevin smith. he has rivers,mjd, and pettigrew

So I won unless Jimmy Graham scores 20 more points than Drew Brees which isn't going to happen, so now for me to get the #1 seed Calvin Johnson can't score 11 more points than Nick Novak which can happen but I hope not!
