Should I start Vincent Jackson or Andre Johnson? I keep going back and forth.

Vincent Jackson, as he will probably get 13 points. Andre Johnson is probably going to get 5 points. They're gonna go run heavy without Shcaub.

Ok that's what I was thinking but ESPN's rankings have Andre Johnson being the #4 WR and Vincent Jackson the #8 WR. VJax could also go for 25 points or he could have 3 points it's happened before.

Well that's ESPN, but I base my prediction on what I think, not ESPN, and you asked me what I think, and that's what I think. At the end of the day it's your choice. Like I said, I say go with Jackson.

Yep I'm going with Jackson especially after Kubiak came out today and said there is no way he'd let Andre play his usual 60 or 70 snaps a game.

Larry Fitzgerald -- 5 points

Vincent Jackson -- 1 point

I go with Matthews, Blount. and Sproles.

Matthews I think he can do it, Blount had a great match up, Sproles is iffy, but if SUH is out I really like this matchup. Kevin Smith has a high ankle sprain, will probably be OUT, Best is really close to returning anyway. Deangelo WIlliams is home run or strikeout material. Mcgahee is actually not a bad play... given how much that offense runs the ball he is almost guaranteed 30 carries.

Thanks for the HU on the IR for BEST, as for Smith this is the yahoo report, Risky option IMHO.

Sun, Nov 27

RB Kevin Smith might not play against the Saints due to a high ankle sprain. He talked after the Green Bay game as if he didn't think the injury would keep him out for the New Orleans game, but high ankle sprains typically take a couple of weeks to heal, especially for a running back who relies on cutting and quick stops and starts.

I Know you probably have Smith and are thinking optimistic but, IMHO it's too risky to decide now. Have to wait and see what practice brings this week. Peyton Hillis is available in a wide variety of leagues and he should be pretty close to 100% by next week although the matchup is horrible.

I feel for you, man. It has happened to me several times before. I got burned by Kevin Smith in 1 league for sure. In the other, I did have Aaron Rodgers, MJD & Wes Welker thankfully :) that made up for it.

I did bench VJax in favor of DJax in that league with Welker and MJD. DJax, if only he could concentrate and catch, would have had 2 TDs yesterday. DJax concentrates on just being a punk, I guess. However, DJax did get me enough to build a decent lead going into MNF. I have a 58 point lead, thanks to Wes Welker and MJD, with my opponent having Sproles, Victor Cruz and John Kasay going tonight.

Vincent Jackson you bum

VJax vs Bailey is never a good matchup and Rivers stops looking to him after a while, just like Peyton does with Wayne vs Revis.

I am curious to see how VJax does vs Jags next MNF. Unlike the Texans with QB issues, the Chargers should get ample opportunities to go to VJax. When Rivers' wings it, he gives you some INTs as well but VJax gets the numbers. But if the Chargers go conservative and let Mathews/Tolbert run it, Rivers' numbers and INTs go down and so does VJax's numbers too. The one who is more consistent on the Chargers is Gates. Boy, am I glad I picked him up when he returned healthy, someone had dropped him when Gates got hurt, good for me :).

Sorry to everyone for saying that Vincent Jackson will do well, but to my defense, Andre Johnson didn't do much better. Like I said, I'm sorry... :(

No need to apologize. If we all knew the future, we wouldn't be here, would we ? :)

With the Broncos, the #2 wideouts and TEs seem to do better when Champ Bailey is healthy. It was the case with Reggie Wayne vs Darrent Williams in 2006 (with Bailey on Marvin), Austin Collie vs Perrish Cox in 2010 (with Bailey on Wayne), Malcolm Floyd vs Goodman in 2011 (with Bailey on VJax earlier this year) and so on....

My dilemma is - did the Jaguars shut down Andre Johnson or did the Texans' QB issue contribute to it? That would be key to analyze how VJax will do versus the Jaguars on MNF next week.

Ok so down by 11, I have Drew Brees and my opponent has Marques Colston. Drew Brees is supposed to get 23 points and Marques Colston is supposed to have 12 which would mean we're going to tie. The thing with Colston is that the Saints spread the ball a lot to Meachem, Moore, Colston and Graham so I'm thinking Colston will get 6 points(67yards). I hope Drew Brees throws for 350 yards and 4 TDs which would be 28 points. So for one night Go Saints except for Colston!!

Drew Brees will probably get 366 yards with 2 touchdowns. That's good for 22.65 points. I think that he'll throw a TD pass to Moore and Sproles, as Pierre Thomas will run in a touchdown. I say that Colston get 8 catches for 98 yards, making you win by 2 points.

    • Ignoring anything to do with accuracy, level of play, etc., just based on his injury history through 8 games, it's highly unlikely he will be our QB in a few years.  It's a catch 22 with him.  If you don't utilize his legs, it will be very difficult to win with him.  If you do utilize his legs, it will be very difficult to keep him on the field.  I've come to the conclusion that his size is not necessarily a benefit.  The collisions are harder.  He goes to the ground harder.  You don't see some of the gentle drops and rolls you see with Lamar Jackson.     The fact that he's also tied to a front office that might be counting their days doesn't help either.
    • Id say avoid drafting or taking players from your team that you’re a fan of. I’m an avid fantasy guy and also a sports bettor. I literally will avoid taking any Colts players In fantasy and also during the week in fantasy football I avoid taking the props of the players I’m playing against. I never want to wish bad on anyone so for that very reason I avoid those guys. For me personally it has helped tremendously, I can still enjoy the game without bias.
    • I will just say this about the comparisons between Luck and AR.  And even Manning.   First, as far as overall talent?  I think AR has more talent than Andrew.  And I say that as the biggest Luck fan that there is.  I loved that guy.  But he always reminded me of a Manning wannabe.  Someone who had more pure talent.  Who was very smart.  But I never ever got the feeling that he wanted to win and put in the hours that Manning did.  And I think that was proven when he retired so early.  Manning was like an AI robot who studied 23 hours a day.  Just a huge will to win.    But what Luck had was pain tolerance, drive and overall ability due to his teaching since he was a kid...and his will to do what is right for the team.    IMO that was 100% MORE than AR's is right now.  Not even close.    If only you could clone a combo between Manning and his smarts, Luck and his pain tolerance, and AR and his pure athletic ability.    I am sorry but unless AR is the unluckiest person in the history of the NFL, NO ONE gets hurt this much.  He is a wreck.  Heck I remember in his first pre season game last year he ran out of bounds and started to limp.  Literally his very first hit ever.  Right then I said to myself "uh oh".  And then he has not finished what......4 of his all time starts?  Out of 8?  I mean....that is not normal QB behavior.  He seems to get hurt on almost every hit he takes.    Make that make sense.    It is very VERY odd to say the least.   I want AR to do well because he seems like a good guy and he has all the talent in the world  But after this last game and his words after? For lack of a better word I don't think he has any ability at all to do 2 things.     One....protect himself.   Two.....take a hit and feel pain without it being the end of the world.  He seems to have no pain tolerance whatsoever.  Which is fine.  Just don't be an NFL Qb as a result.
    • I'm not creating anything.  Till AR can stay on the field it's Flacco that has to be tough.
    • I understand that but till AR shows he can stay on the field, Flacco has to be the man. It's that simple.
