49'ers and now Falcons interested in trade for Revis

Rumor from Jets front office is it's going to get done. Revis will be moved.  It is also rumored that the Falcons will make a play for Revis too.  The problem is still the fact Revis is coming back from a serious injury and hasn't proven himself and how to negotiate the long term contract because of that.  So what will it take to get Revis onto another teams roster to even begin contract talks?

49'ers have 12 -15 picks, but only one #1, two in round 2 and two in round 3.  the rest are all lower round picks.  So what do they begin offers with, a #2 and a #3? What will the Jets take?

It's hard to wrap my mind around anything getting done until after season starts and Revis gets PT before the trade deadline.  But rumors keep hinting otherwise. IDK - smh.

Corner is more important that WR. I would be stunned if they don't get one #1 and another lower pick. Joey Galloway got two #1s.

Both 2's. Only franchise QBs are worth more than that. Brandon Marshal, one of the best receivers in the league, only pulled in two 3rds.

Was he the highest paid corner in the league coming off of an ACL tear?

Revis is the highest paid because he is the best in the game. Galloway was not worth two number ones IMO. He was nowhere near the best receiver in the game at the time. That being said, it only takes one team. Every team wants him it comes down to who has the money and the picks. Jets won't take lower than one #1. That is why they started shopping so early.

Deion Branch got a #1 too as well as Richard Seymour who was coming off of injury.
