I live in Western Illinios. Been a Colts fan since '84. I was more of a Cowboys fan from '79(when I started following NFL at age 10) till Jerry Jones bought the team. Then I kind of bounced around Liking Seattle, New Orleans, New England, Indy, and Atlanta. Everyone around here is a Bears or Packers fan. I hated following the crowd so I follow other teams. I settled on the Colts when they Drafted Jeff George(from Ill) and Atlanta(liked IronHead Heyward). Now still like Atlanta(they are the Colts from 1999-2005 trying to win in the playoffs after cruising through the regular season). Will always root for the Colts over Atlanta when they play.

Southern California....

About 30 miles NW of downtown Los Angeles.

As a longtime Stanford fan, I've been a Colts fan since they selected Andrew Luck.  (Fleener was an added bonus!)

I expect to remain a Colts fan as long as Luck is with the franchise.

I also really, really like the Irsay/Grigson/Pagano leadership at the top.    A well run franchise makes all the difference.

Sorry,  this was perhaps more than you wanted to know.....      :hide:

I think we'll infect you and you'll be a Colt for life.

I have lived in Mississippi my whole life, but I now work in Memphis, TN.  Back in the Unitas days, our small town's dept store had 1 football uniform left and it was Johnny Unitas Baltimore Colts one...full replica uniform with pads, pants, jersey and helmet.   My father bought it for me for Christmas and I became an instant fan.  I would cry (I was a kid) when they lost and I would go outside and kick the football for hours if we won.  When they moved to Indy, I followed them because they were still the Colts and had that beautiful helmet and uni that I loved.  I also liked the Larry Csonka Dolphins and the Montanna/Rice 49ers, but never more than the Colts.

Born and raised in NY,

My colts fan-hood came from  my cousin (also born and raised in NY) who's uncle grew up in Indianapolis.

Both of our immediate families were not football fans, I kinda wish my parents were football fans like I am. I would have made a great OLB/DE, but I got into it too late :(

I was born in Indiana and lived here all of my life outside of a few yrs. when I was in the military in New Jersey and Germany, but am always interested in hearing from fans from other parts of the country or world. It's great that we have such a diverse and international fanbase.

Technically, I live in Indiana, however, living in NWI is like living in Chicago. All Bear fans up here, so I get looked at weird when wearing my Colts gear.

Thats how it is here in florida where im at lol. i live closer to the georgia border so most of the NFL fans here are falcon fans, and they give the ones who are dolphin or buc fans the dirtiest looks. almost the same kinda looks i get for being a Gator fan opposed to being a bulldog fan lol.

:hello:    Ohio Girl  raising hand here.  :hello:    ;)

I live in Ohio, but actually it's only a two hour drive to Lucas Oil...   so I don't really consider myself that much of an out-of-towner  :P

Love the :coltslogo:

I live in the "forgotten" part of Indiana(SW Indiana) with no direct connection to Indy so you have a shorter drive to Indy than I do.

Originally from SE PA..about 80 miles from Baltimore..I grew up as a Colts fan, watching Bert Jones, Lydell Mitchell, and the "Sack Pack"

I now live in SO Cal about 30 miles north of downtown LA

My wife is from near Vincennes IN...so I have connections to both Indy and Baltimore with the Colts...

Glad to have you aboard

haha i feel you! I live in Florida. I remember my cousin was like "i always wondered why you always talk about indy". It's funny when i tell people im from Indy, I was born in Indianapolis but moved like 2 weeks after so i never have been able to see the city but I represent Indy all the time and I'm proud being from indy. Hopefully one day i will visit
