2013 Ticket Prices Published

I haven't seen the 2013 ticket prices posted to the forum.  Most sections are going up.  It's interesting because Pete Ward stated that the majority of seats would not see an increase.  If that is true, then it appears it's only a very slight majority that didn't increase. The red sections went up quite a bit. Since the yellow sections are where most of the unsold tickets were last season, it makes sense that those sections didn't go up.

Season Ticket Prices

             2012   2013   % Increase

Blue      126      126       0.00%

Green    99       104       5.05%

Red        79         88      11.39%

Yellow   69        69        0.00%

Orange  48        51        6.25%

Purple   38         40        5.26%

Considering Marion County raised the ticket tax from 6% to 10%, I also did a comparison of pre-tax ticket prices, just to make it a bit easier to see how much of the actual increase will go to the Colts.

               2012      2013    %Increase

Blue       118.87   114.55    -3.64%

Green      93.40     94.55     1.23%

Red          74.53     80.00     7.34%

Yellow     65.09     62.73    -3.64%

Orange    45.28     46.36     2.39%

Purple     35.85     36.36     1.44%

Sweet, my seats stayed the same.

As for what Pete Ward said, he may be right.  The seats that stayed the same are all on the sidelines all the way up, which are likely the biggest sections containing the most seats.

Where did you find this?  The reason I'm asking is because I've had seats in the green section for the last 3 seasons and they have always been $126 per ticket.

I think the blue and green are reversed in this table ie green should be $1260 and blue should be $1040.  I checked on upgrade requests and got an email that said the following:

"If you wish to try and move your seats for the 2013 season, you will need
to fill out a seat relocation request form.  These forms will be
available once renewal invoices go out (around late January/early
February) and will be due back to us by mid-March.  You will also need
to go ahead and renew your current seat location by the early March
deadline.  Once you receive your renewal invoice, you can either contact
me to send the form to you or you can print one off colts.com at that
time. Onthe form you will just indicate all locations/criteria where you would
like to try and your seats.  You can add/attach any notes to best
explain what you are trying to do.  We will then go through each request
in order of seniority date and try and fulfill the best we can per
availability, once we know what is available from those that did not
renew.  If we are unable to fulfill your request per your indicated
criteria, you will remain in your current seat location."

This was from the Colts Customer Service.  I would guess that we should be getting info any day now.  Can't wait.

Yep, you're right.  I mixed up the colors.  Sorry.  Green is $126 per game and blue is $104.

    • It’s unfortunate when they just got their first win. If Lewis and paye can’t go we basically only have one DE. No rotation so Steelers will just wear this term down. I was do excited for this game now I am really mad. I was really looking forward to it. The offense might be able to make up for defense but not if Kelly and smith can go.
    • This is where quality of your coach is so important.  And I think Shane is a quality coach to handle this situation.  Also I agree he is doing it right.  It's ugly, but he is balancing a big investment at QB with his job security which is very tough.   Running QBs often reach that point where the staff decides they are never going to learn to win from the pocket, and it is then you see the scheme revert back to college type approach and general simplicity to allow them to translate to the field.  But to get to that point you need to at least give the QB the opportunity.  Because once they do reach that point the team will usually be looking for another QB.   The way you build a perennial winner is finding a QB who can give you an edge from the pocket.  Given that, mobility and off schedule instincts are an advantage and desired.  But the latter will never trump the former because if your QB needs to be in space to see the defense and make his throws then defenses will be able to shut him down in the playoffs.  QBs like that don't win 3 or 4 games in a row against the best defenses in the league, which is required to hoist a Lombardi.   I mean look at Allen.  He developed the ability to win from the pocket.  He has had good teams around him.  He is a dominant run threat.  And he still has come up short in the playoffs.  When there are guys like him and Mahomes with rosters around them, you aren't gonna get past them with a QB who can't do the job from the pocket.
    • I compared AR to Mike Vick recently but didn't get alot of reaction.   AR may never fix his accuracy issues like Vick who struggled with short and intermediate accuracy his entire career.    But Vick was a dynamic runner and could hit the deep bombs with just a flick of the wrist.   Vick resurrected a very sad Falcons franchise and I was a huge fan.   If AR became Vick 2.0 would Colts fans be happy ? I would be
    • Seems like this team gets a lot of untimely injuries that come out of nowhere. Smith and Kelly, Lewis injuries just appeared out of nowhere. None of those injuries were even mentioned after the Bears game.   Hopefully Smith and Lewis plays because that means more reps for Bryan and Freeland. 😭
    • Yep. He must of woke up Thursday with it. I assume Pinter will play center if he can’t go. That tackle slot is worrisome if smith can’t go. The defense is looking ridiculously banged up.
