Now that I got all of the doom and gloom out of my system

Recommended Posts

Lets look at this rationally from both sides instead of emotionally

Positives

1.First and foremost we hung with the Texans until the 4h Quarter today

2.Vick Ballard showed well today along with our O Lines ability to open up SOME holes for that to happen

3.T.Y, Hilton had a nice game today with 78 yards and a touchdown

4.Luck put the ball in the end zone twice

5.Held the Texans to 1 of 5 inside the RedZone

Negatives

well we have our usual suspects

1.Luck got sacked 5 times (The Coaches Film is not available but I suspect not every sack is on our O Line alone

2.Playcalling was not there

3.Dont quote me on this but didn't the Texans score on the drive that had the unsportsmanlike penalty by Arians?

4.Dropped passes and some overthrows today

5.Turnovers-something we absolutely could not do we did anyway even if it was just 1

6.Penalties-8, way to many. The Texans had 9 so it was not 1 sided by the officials

7.3rd down conversions we were 1 for 8

Anymore thoughts?

Most of those things you mentioned, and to add to that I think our run defense in the second half was not adequate.  It allowed them to keep drives going longer than what it should have been.  We would have had more opportunity to get ourselves where we needed to be.  I thought is was pretty stout in the first half.

    • This is my sister's dog. I never liked this type of dog until she got him. They are cute. In two of these pics, he is begging for food.
    • by seasons end, it will be very close...    you didn’t even mention Pittman or Taylor in that comment, which is concerning after their performances last week. They will be our go-to’s offensively for years...
    • I like Malamute Huskies The puppies are the cutest
    • True but the smart and efficient but unspectacular QB comes out every year. None of them ever really amount to much. The best average traits but good IQ QB is Brady followed by Brees. You could probably throw Goff in there too but he was crazy accurate coming out of Cal.   But if you look at all the current great QBs in the league, they all have a standout trait that jumps off the screen. Wilson has his playmaking ability that is almost unnatural when he’s on the move. Mahomes has a ln arm that’s a cheat code and plus athleticism. Watson is a dual threat with elite play making ability. Allen has a cannon arm and is a great runner. Lamar Jackson is self explanatory. Rodgers may be the best thrower of the football ever just in terms of his ability to fit ball into ridiculous windows.    The mental is great but he needs to have some physical trait that jumps off the tape.
    • I love English Bulldogs! That is my buddy there.      I like a lot of the dogs you mentioned. You don't like huskies??!     I like almost all dogs except the small, loud ones. Goldens, Labradors, Huskies and English Bulldogs are my favorites. I also like Portuguese Water Dogs.
