Time To Become More Unpredictable?

I think one of our biggest weapons while Manning is out could be our unpredictability in play calling. We are always so predictable and sensible with no surprise plays I would like to see us turn that around once Collins gets more familiar with the playbook. Why not pull out the stops while Manning is out? Collins is used to that from playing under Fisher. I can usually almost always predict when the Colts are going to throw and when they are going to run. Don't know if I can see that happening under Caldwell though.

I think Caldwell has already said there will be a different game plan for Collins. No one could play with Peyton's game plan. I guess we will have to wait and see. I hope there are surprises on Collins playing. He's a good QB and I think he will give it 100%.

i think caldwell will try some different things but i think we will be hard to stop running the ball with the new rbs ando linemen

What about more Addai to Wayne passes? As much as everyone loved that play eveyrone seems to forget what happened the following week when we let Wayen throw a pass. Not going off on you just building on what you said. You don't win games in the NFL with trick plays, even Fisher's teams didn't. He'd use a trick play when the time was right. He beat you beacuse his team out excuited before and after the trick play. Frankly Fisher was more unpredictable when he had bad teams because he knew they had to have those plays just to have a chance. Normally when he had good teams he would stay away from them other than one here or there because he didn't need them.

Kerry Collins is our starting QB.... I dont think anyone predicted that at the begining of the year.
