MRI & Hardly able to lift shoulder I heard on TV

========================================================

Defensive End Elvis Dumervil was having a good day, with 2 Tackles a Sack and a Forced Fumble, his 5th of the season. However, Doom suffered a shoulder injury and barely played into the 2nd Quarter.

The next man up was Robert Ayers and did he ever step up.

Prior to this game, Ayers had 5 Tackles, 4 Hurries and 2 Quarterback Hits for the season. In today's contest, Robert made 5 Tackles, 2 Tackles For Loss, 2 Quarterback Hits, a Sack, 2 Pass deflections and a few Hurries as well.

left in the first half with a strained left shoulder. He did not return. He will have an MRI on the shoulder back in Denver on Monday morning.

“You have to stay confident, man,” Dumervil said.

Dumervil felt something strain — “nothing popped,” he said, — in the backside muscle area of the left shoulder, perhaps involving the lat or labrum.

To me, Dumervil was underachieving for what he was hyped up to be, so was Ayers. Maybe Ayers realizes like the Wesley Woodyard situation with D.J.Williams and knows to "put up numbers or else someone else will take his place".

Maybe true, but need the depth and him healthy plus other teams worry about him and try things tio stop him
