I vividly remember the 41-0 playoff loss to the Jets. That may well have been the last.

My sister (who is a Jets fan) called up immediately afterwards to go :neener:. She didn't mean anything by it, and didn't realize that by that point I was in a fetal position sucking my thumb. I was still angry about Super Bowl III for crying loud.

My family isn't like that, and I didn't even know she was that big a fan, so I was dumbfounded. I had no response other than maybe a plaintive "whaaaat" before hanging up. The call upset me almost as much as the game did.

We laugh about it now, but the last two years I've sent her pre-game "please don't call me" texts just in case. ;)

yeah, tony dungy's first season as head coach wasn't it. we all had such high hopes of ending the one & done streak. that one hurt almost as much as the massacre in foxboro

Seriously, last year Chargers was bad, before that I'd have to say the 2nd Pats loss @ NE in the playoffs in 04-05, 20-3. Just brutal.

The Chargers have broke my heart too many times. That blow out added to the OT playoff loss, and now Bob Sanders. Any team that plays the Chargers is my second favorite team. Oakland made me a happy last year.
