Alex Karras, one of the toughest players of all time, died today. He also became an actor after football, most notably as Webster;'s adoptive father on the Series Webster. My condolences go out to his family.. RIP Mr Karras,

Always enjoyed Alex Karras. He was one of the dominant DL of his time, and was generally very funny in his TV and movie roles. I may be overstating, but I feel he would be in the Hall Of Fame if not for gambling suspensions. You were a great player....and a super person Alex! RIP. Another sad day in the NFL.

never got to see him as a NFL'r, but enjoyed his role as Mongo and other movies/shows. RIP Mr. Karras.
