All players on the Broncos' 53-man roster are available to play as

both right guard Chris Kuper (forearm) and linebacker Nate Irving (concussion) are listed as probable.Kruper has been out withninjuryu and its first week he practiced

Kuper, a starter the previous five years but a victim of two serious injuries since Jan. 1, is expected to dress for the game Sunday but it's unclear whether he will start ahead of Manny Ramirez at right guard.

Meanwhile, the Broncos did formally activate tight end Virgil Green from the suspended list.

Thanks, Barry.

Good-bye D.J. It's been nice knowing you.

I'm curious how sharp Kuper will be, but sure glad to have him back. I'm sure Peyton's happy too.

The Broncos will wait until Sunday to decide whether right guard Chris Kuper will play in his first game since suffering two significant injuries in the past 10 months.

Kuper broke his ankle Jan. 1 and a bone in his left forearm Aug. 14. He was a full participant in practice twice this week and is listed as probable for Sunday's game.

The Broncos could decide to stick with Manny Ramirez for at least one more week.

"It's good to have the chance to play," Kuper said. "We'll see. It's not really my decision right now."

Kuper is one of five players listed on the Broncos' final injury report before the New England game, along with linebacker Nate Irving (concussion), cornerback Chris Harris (ankle), cornerback Tracy Porter (shoulder) and wide receiver Matt Willis (hamstring). All are listed as probable.

PERSONALLY

We could use Kuper to open holes but dont want him rushed, he must be Rusty , then again some real field time for next weeks Chargers game would be helpful

What was Virgil Green suspended for...?

I would start Kuper immedaitely...because linemen need contunity downthe line but not if there's still a question....

..to me..game-time decision means 'NO' if its not a division or playoff game

This is a big game with tie breaker implications for the end of the season...

...but you are right...the San Diego game is one of the pivotal games of the season..

If the Broncos are 3-3...but the wins are SD and Oak and Pitt...

they are in much better shape than being 3-3 with the wins being NE, Oak and Pitt...

On Kiuper I have no idea if that forearm break in practice was bringing him back to practice and its stress on the arm too early or just a freak thing, I dont think he started practice as early as the rest of the team due to initial ankle break last year, he must haave lost some arm strength I would imagine but pending way worked out to recondition, may not have been much so just guessing here

Virgil Green

for violating the NFL's banned substance policy in his rookie year

“I think Virgil proved to us last year in the amount of camp that he was allowed to go through that he’s a good blocking tight end,” John Fox said. “He’s got good pass catching skills to go with that. It’s kind of an area where we’ve been holding our breath a little bit and we’ve been fortunate because Joel’s been healthy and been good. That gives us another ‘Y’ tight end option.”

Green had just 3 receptions for 24 yards in 15 games his rookie year.

Because Green couldn’t step inside Dove Valley during his suspension, he stayed in Denver and worked out with private trainer Loren Landow.

Tom Brady humiliated Denver's defense twice last year and in the post season just really embarrassed them. There's no reason to think this isn't going to be the case again. We also have two very strong running backs. If Denver plays it's nickle package we're just going to ram the ball down their throats for 8+ yards a carry over and over again until they start to wear down and then we'll torch them on play action.

Our secondary has problems still but our front seven are very good. Wilfork is going to wreck havok on and collapse Manning's pocket regularly, forcing him on the move where he'll ever take a sack from our very quick pass rushers (Chandler Jones is defensive rookie of the month, a real play maker) or he's going to make a mistake and throw some interceptions.

I see this game getting out of hand in favor of New England sometime in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah Barry, I definitely agree. There will be rust. But I'm anxious to see him too. I trust the team will do what's best.

Hey, hate to say it, the Patriots are looking like a championship team with their ability to run like that.

We will find out how the Pats play the Texans. If they beat the Texans, they are the team to beat again in the AFC, so what is new? :)

Yeah, the emergence of the Pats run game is the biggest suprise to me so far. They are ranked third in the league ATM.

    • Any chance we take a OT with the 1st pick?
    • FWIW:   Today I listened to a guy from The Athletic interviewed on ESPN.   (Darren Lee). He said interviewing GMs at the combine, almost all view DeJean as a safety except two teams.  He thinks the Colts and Jags view DeJean as a corner.     I don’t know this reporter, never seen him before, so I can’t speak to his credibility.  But it sounds like he did a lot of homework.     And I appreciate your view on pro day times being reliable or not.   I’m always skeptical on pro days.  But I thought DeJean helped himself on his testing.
    • I could care less what he does. Been too long ago.
    • I’m with ya..     I'm not sure we’re going WR at 15 either.  I think we could go DE, and it’s possible we could go CB as well.   Gosh,  I love Mitchell and really like Arnold as well.  And if we trade back I would be fine with McKinstry or a DE on defense or one of the 2nd tier of WRs that could be there in the 20’s.  So many options.   I keep reminding myself, every pick could produce a surprise, because I think Ballard will have so many options to choose from.      Im also not sure Ballard will use all 7 rounds.   He finished in 5 rounds in his first draft 2017,  and he finished in 6 rounds in 2019.   Maybe he uses all 7 rounds, but I’m not confident we will.     One week from tonight.
    • My Final Mock Draft   15. Brock Bowers, TE,  6’4 245 Lbs, Georgia - Blue Chip Prospect.  Rare combination of acceleration, speed and body control. Hands-catcher operating with good coordination and technique. With Pittman on the outside Bowers will control the middle of the field and seams. AR Will develop much quicker into a top 10 QB with Bowers as his TE.  46. TJ Tampa, CB, 6’1, 190 Lbs, Iowa State - Elite physical traits. Plays with good positioning throughout routes. Very good in press Coverage and Zone. Expect him to compete in training camp and be named a starter.      82. Calen Bullock, S, 6’2 190 lbs, USC - Elite physical traits. He has the range to play single-high safety, the athleticism to line up over the slot and the ball skills to chalk up impressive on-ball production. Expect him to compete in training camp for the starting S position.    117. Tez Walker,  WR,  6’2 195 Lbs, UNC - Elite speed with very good body control. Career average of 30.7 yards on touchdown receptions. Gives us very good depth and competition with Pierce.    151. Grayson Murphy, DE, 6’3 260 Lbs, UCLA - Shows impressive quickness and change of direction to help turn speed to power as a rusher. Good depth.    191.  Keaton Bills, G, 6’5 320 Lbs, Utah - Cerebral player, quick to react to twists and stunts up front. Very good depth.
