When will we unleash our TEs?

Fleener had 82 yards against the Bears, and was targeted a few times against the Viks.

Allen caught a TD pass and some targets.

Don't expect these 2 TEs to be like Gronk-Hern where they always get targeted. This offense is a work in progress and everyone is just feeling it out now.

You'll see a bigger impact over time from these guys.

I think some of you are discounting the importance of a H back in our offense, it's not a 3rd round waste.

I'm pretty sure we'll unleash Fleener and Allen when it's absolutley necessary. And by that, I mean they'll be used as recieving weapons at some point near the end of the season when it won't matter anymore regardless of how we play.

I think you might see more catches from Fleener and Allen after we get a few of our starting O-line back.

If you guys want Allen and Fleener to be primary receivers then we're wasting Reggie. He's the first look, or sometimes Avery because the attention is on Wayne. Then it's probably Fleener, then Allen. Depending on the play of course. I do think Allen is going to score some TDs this year , colts have some dangerous PA plays for short to mid yardage.

I do agree that they need to be released more. The only reason they should be in blocking is when Luck is looking deep. That, in it of it's self, is part of the problem as well. Way too many long developing routes are being called for a team that doesn't have the protection or time to get the ball there. Allen needs to chip and release, if anything. The short passing game protects the QB just as much as an extra blocker, while offering the benefit of moving the chains at the same time.
