  1. Just to play along with your hypothetical premise...The 1 thing giving slight credence to this topic is this: TY's agent I believe is Drew Rosenhaus. Drew has a reputation for getting his clients a lucrative deal in their 2nd contract, which is his job naturally.

My point is this: I don't wanna break the bank on 1 guy not playing the QB position. Now, TY's definitely earned a significant raise in pay & I don't see him leaving Luck. However, Drew has a knack for playing hardball with franchises money wise & it wouldn't surprise me if Drew played the my client can go elsewhere for more benjamins card.

I want Dorsett used as a return guy on special teams personally not WR in his rookie year.

I totally agree with this. Between Rosenhaus and the new contract extensions for Thomas and Bryant, TY Hilton's price just went up. I think ultimately it's going to come down to guaranteed money, but out of curiosity, how much do you value TY Hilton? What's your price range?

  2.

Duron Carter with his "wow" play of practice. Fade pattern to the corner. Ball appeared to be overthrown. Carter brings it in with one hand

Seems like this guy just does this stuff routinely now.  May have a freak on our hands

I have been saying this since before we officially signed him. The talent is there and as long as his maturity and dedication remains in tact.. he will be a stud in years to come.

  3. If he keeps this up is it possible Duron can end up as more than #5 on the depth chart?

Highly unlikely, unless we love someone long term due to injury. I'm pretty sure we're penciled in with Hilton, Johnson, Moncrief and Dorsett as our top four guys. But I would love for the Colts to use Carter a few times inside the Red Zone during the regular season if he continues to shine.

  4.  "I guess Grigson sees something the rest of us don't."

My guess (I missed the interview) is Grigson likes that Louis is mobile for his size and that hes had starting experience...But his play don't match up

Once Louis got injured in what 2012-2013? He's never been the same player. I think it's more that Grigson is in love of the player Louis use to be or could have been, and it's blinding him to the reality of the guy who's starting for us right now.

  5. phil B was pretty high on Thomas getting healthy yesterday and that's he's much further along than the Colts thought he would be. With that said Phil B. Seemed to share the skeptism that we do that he can be counted on to be the answer at guard.

Phil B. stressed though that Grigson seems to really like Louis. I guess Grigson sees something the rest of us don't.

I have always questioned Grigson's remarkable liking for Louis. He must not like our Quarterback that much. Lol.

  6. you might want to get used to that cringe feeling because I think Louis will be the starter this year(Going into the season...I don't think he stays the starter) at this point with Donald Thomas probably not going to be ready and the team inexplicably liking Reitz as the 6th Lineman....Maybe Thornton starts however

Lance Louis is just horrible. The fact that Hugh Thornton may not beat him out for the starting role is just mind boggling to me. I would take a healthy Donald Thomas over the two of them, but I don't think that man exists.

  7. Seattle will have to start hitting on those draft picks again. What got them to this point was young cheap talent in every round of the draft. It let them have such a deep roster bringing in these stud veterans but when your young talent gets paid....you need a new dose of young talent....they need to hit some home runs again or they will slowly start to degrade.

The Colts will be in the same boat very soon..
