Make the aggressive move and move up to #1 and take Bryce Young Pray that Houston makes the mistake of picking CJ Stroud/Will Levis at #1 and end up with Bryce Young without having to give up any draft capital at all.

I'll never understand how people can continue to support Chris Ballard like he's irreplaceable. He's entering his 7th season as the Colts GM. 0 Division titles Hired Josh McDaniels before he ran back to New England, then hired Frank Reich. 1 playoff win (2018 with Andrew Luck) Had a different QB starting every year over the last 4 years. Still hasn't attempted to draft a new guy to be the franchise QB. He much rather sign 40 year old QBs every year with the same result. Completely lost the locker room this season and the colture this organization once prided themselves on. Hands out huge contracts to players, only to have them under perform immediately after being paid and refuses to spend money in FA, to fill holes that have been an issue for multiple seasons now.

The Colts have zero excuses not to walk away with a guy they believe will be their franchise QB for the next decade on day one of the 2023 NFL Draft.

I was okay with the bargain-bin Ballard approach the first few seasons of having him as the Colts GM, but it's been six years with zero AFC South Championships and multiple years of not making the playoffs. Indy only made the playoffs in 2020 because the league added a 7th seed. The Colts have a solid team but clearly need to add a few pieces in order to take this team to the next level. You traded for Matt Ryan, so why aren't you going out and surrounding him with weapons? You can't rely on a handful of rookies to take you where you need to go. Chris Ballard being cheap when it comes to signing free agents does bother me to an extent. You have an owner who wants to win now and you're refusing to go out and get proven players who can help you win now. Your coaching staff doesn't have 10 years to develop players. MPJ is the only proven wide receiver on the roster. Parris can't stay healthy. Dulin is a special team's ace but hasn't played much, same with Patmon. They need to get a difference-maker at TE. Cox has been here 4 years and only has 70 catches, 8 TDs, and 930 yards.
