I believed San Francisco would get to the SB, but I thought NE would knock off Baltimore. It's a good thing I'm not a gambling man. HA! HA!

"Fold that dollar and put it in your wallet...called doubling your money!" With such sound advice, maybe you should print business cards saying Brent Master Financial Advisor. I'd hire you in a heartbeat buddy. :)

  4. So...who are you cheering for this weekend to head for the Super Bowl?

Falcons/Ravens for me. I don't like the Pats at all so I'm going for Baltimore, just this once. The Falcons are my only "team" left. :)

49ers/Ravens. I hope Jim gets the ring he was robbed of TWICE now. If the Falcons happen to beat them then go Falcons.

  5. School finals, traveling, busy holiday seasons with parties...what else? :) Love the Christmas season! (

I can see now why Ray Lewis, T-sizzle, & Ed Reed were sad to see Chuck Pagano leave the Baltimore Ravens organization. Chuck is special no doubt.

  7. Any updates from people on how they're doing with Sandy would be awesome. Hope that all is well with everyone. Keeping you in my prayers.

  8. This catch takes four words and a little punctuation: Out of this world!!!!!!!!!
  9. Hoping for for safety as Sandy is coming around. Prayers go out to everyone.

  10. Happy (early) Anniversary CCCF! Hope you two have a fun and wonderful day!
  11. I watch the Sunday night game via nbc.com. It was a great game for Peyton and a not so great for Drew and the Saints. Happier that Fox is giving Peyton the reins more (though he should give them to Peyton completely); makes the team look so much the better. The Saints team just isn't doing well without Sean Peyton. Congrats to Drew for reaching his 300th TD! And, congrats to Peyton for another win!

    Sewer Truck

We are very glad also. The guys came back the next day and finished fishing the truck out of the ditch it had created. They were great guys and they did an awesome job fixing the damaged back hill. But we found out that one of the guys actually did get hit as he tried to jump out of the way. The side of truck wheel flipped him away and into a tree trunk nearby instead of under it's wheel as it would have done any other time. God is amazing!
  13. Preparing for the big game in my part of the country: Florida Gators vs. Georgia Bulldogs. Go Gators! It's what happens when I'm from Florida...;)

  14. Decided to start the morning off with a joke: At a large college there was a football player that was extremely stupid. He sat beside a boy in class that was really smart and the teacher knew that he was cheating, but he just couldn't catch him. One day she was grading a test and she noticed that the smart boy had written "I don't know the answer" on number 10. So she looked at the jock's paper and smiled. He had finally given himself away. His answer looked like this:...

    Sewer Truck

Yep, us too. There were no houses behind where the truck went flying...they're back to trying to dig it out now. They emptied the sewage into another truck so there wouldn't be any leakage last night.

    Sewer Truck

This is something that you might here in a comedy routine: "Today, a perfect day, my neighbor had their sewer pumped. And it was going along just fine until the "sewer pumpers" were almost done; that's when it happened. The truck's brakes gave away and the truck picked up momentum as it started down the steep backyard. The two "sewer pumpers" and my neighbor leaped out of the way, just in time, before the truck smooshed them into greasy-spots. Then it barreled down the steepest part of the hill, crashing through the fence, and decided to hop-n-skip and even do a few fancy flips before it crash

^ Brent, I'm laughing so hard right now! XD

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! Yes, the hamsters are kinda creepy when you watch the commercial. What my family has been thinking is that it's more of a "surfer dude" kind of car.

The funny thing is that we are seeing Souls and other cars that we're looking at everywhere. It's like people decided to buy the cars just 'cause we were going to. ;) But anyways, also looking at the Honda CR-V..

  19. can't he wear orange and pink (like he already is) and support both pink and coach pagano/leukemia? makes no sense...
  20. #coltstrong, thanks for all the support over this past week. Everyone has been encouraging and thoughtful. Thank you my friends! My prayers go out to Coach Pagano and his family, I know how hard this is going to be. Love Colts Country and #coltstrong! Without you I don't know where I'd be. #chuckstrong

We are here for ya....just say when.....with Coach too....

  21. My "grandfather" passed on Sunday from leukemia, and so I have been gone. Though I am now back and am still in mourning (don't think that I'll ever get over this). But I am left with so many memories of him and his love to me and my family. Taking my mother under his wing in her early college years and still being there for us. I played a hymn for him at the funeral, by flute, and know that he is up there smiling.

    4. BrentMc11

      BrentMc11

What is not an option: The commercial where the husband is in the bathroom.....watching out the door...the wife bringing in the groceries... That is when there is a game ejection...out of the house and cut the the lawn mister :)

  23. It's Bye Week...end. What shall I do with all this spare time?!

  24. Decided to end my afternoon with a joke... A football coach was asked his secret of evaluating his new recruits. "Well," he said, "I take 'em out in the woods and make 'em run. The ones that run round the trees, I make into running backs. The ones that run straight into the trees, I turn into linemen."

On our practice field they had door built. just a pole and a door.. it was right by the back straightway.. Cinder track. The seniors told all the freshman that when they hit that straight away to start sprinting... One of the seniors was hiding behind the door. Jumped out and floored a guy we called chicken. Well day two rolls around and they tried again. Chicken takes the lead again and runs straight into that door knocking the Senior on his rear. Of course a fight started at that point,...
