  1. I was glad that we picked up Toler in the off season.  I was a fan of his in Arizona and am a fan of his here in Indy.  It shows that our defense relies on having two good corners because our D just looks so different without Toler.  Get back soon!

  2. He actually has some speed, which is evident on screen plays, but he looks like molasses getting to the line of scrimmage.

I don't doubt he has SOME speed in an open field, but he has no burst speed when attacking a hole.  But for me a 1st round RB should have all the tangibles to make an offense better and I just don't see it with him.  I want Chuck to light a fire under his a$$ next game and I want Pep to him a focal point on a few drives early in the game just so I can stop screaming at the TV.  Man sometimes this team frustrates me, but I love them and am a proud colts fan:)

  3. I feel for Colts fans.  You guys are seeing the same thing we saw here.  We defended TR left and right, saying it was the OL's fault, or the fact that we didn't have a QB that scared anyone, to open up the running game.  We also said "give TR a full training camp" because his first camp here, he was hurt.  Then his second camp here, he had a full training camp, but barely played for whatever reason.  But honestly, we expected much more.

The bottom line is, he's too slow and he has poor RB vision.  LB's are faster than he is, so they get to him quickly.

I could not agree more.  I see him out there and he is so slow its not even funny.  I honestly think you could plug in "Boom" Herron and not do any worse then Trent is doing.  He is so not worth a first rounder from what i have seen.

  4. Why does everyone think we will trade for a WR.  We will just move everyone up on the depth chart.  I hope we do not do a trade,  its not like a WR can just come in and produce.  it takes time to get familiar with the playbook and get rhythm with the QB.  You do not replace Wayne with Britt(too many injuries), Gordan(head case), and especially Nicks (too many injuries).  You replace him in house and thats exactly what we will do.  So my answer is someone on our squad this year and Wayne will be back next year.

  5. I did not watch him when he was with Cleveland, but I have watched him in every game with the colts so this is based on a few games.  HE SUCKS.  He honestly looks like he has lead weights strapped to his boots.  He is slow, has no burst speed and just doesn't seem to have IT.  I agree with a few people that said that RB's are not worth a 1st anymore.  With this day in age you can get one in the later rounds, ala Vick Ballard.  Now for those people saying he will come around or its the O-Line.  We had a worse O-line last year and Vic did alright and this year Bradshaw and Brown was/are doing good with the same O-line.  Now with the injury to Wayne we need to rely on our running game more so than ever.  So Richardson and Brown need to step up in a huge way now.  So Pep if your reading this use the stretch play like Manning/James perfected.  Use more screen passes and check downs PLEASE.

  6. where Reggie will be missed is his experience in beating zone defenses.  It seemed that he could always find that soft spot and that comes with experience in the NFL.  To me Wayne made Luck better, so this will be a good test for Luck to see what he can do.  I think without Reggie, Pep should get the O to work on timing routes and he needs Luck to do more check downs and screen passes.

  7. Who gets cut?  Well I would say the ones who do not perform at training camp.  As for the players who have injury issues I really hope they can stay healthy and show they can compete.  i.e Drake Nevis, Justin Hickman, Fili Moala, Ben Ijalana and Don Brown.  I think these 4 players when healthy can be starters.

  8. I was a big fan of Freeman when he played for us up here for the Roughriders. He was a stud making smart play after smart play. He definately was a CFL standout. I don't know if you guys know this but we have another CFL standout in Justin Hickman. I have really liked what our scouting staff have done this year and brought in some real talent.
