Just now, corgi said:
Daniel is going to Philly and Boone is going to Minnesota.
OK thx, just saw that about Daneil
-
Just looking through the FA list and a couple more that stand out are:
Chase Daniel for back up QB
Alex Boone
Anquan Boldin, Ya i know he's old but he is special
Akiem Hicks
Stefen Wisneiwski

Chad72 is right. Freeman and Hayward would be great, Alex Mack would be icing on the cake.

Favourite Player of All Time: The Edge #32 ABSOLUTELY AWESOME
Most Underated Player on Roster: Doyle, the guy can do it all. Was a really good pick up. Honourable mention: Whalen, Walden
Favourite Player on Roster: Do not currently have one.
Most overrated player on Roster Right now: Luck, it just has to be as he is regressing to the point that I'm thinking that Hasselbeck would give us a better chance of winning.
-
Bradshaw all the way, please pick him up. Bradshaw/Gore combo would be great! With Robinson getting a few a game as well and keep Vargaon kick return duty.
-
Or maybe get Whalen involved more in the slot with Hilton and Moncrief on the outside.
-
Free agent receivers just do not pan out here in Indy.
2012 - Avery
2013 - Heyward Bey
2014 - Nicks
2015 - Johnson
Actually of all these free agents, Avery was the best. I think we should just stick to using the receivers we bring up through our system and not go get free agents anymore. I know its only been 3 games but Johnson is looking very slow out there and is not playing very physical. If he doesn't do much in the next few games I would really think about bringing up Carter and getting him some reps.
-
I would have no problem picking up Bradshaw, that man is the appitamy of what a running back should be.
-
I wish him the best, because he's had some serious bad luck. Hope he gets picked up by someone that is willing to give him a chance.
-
Is Werner a bust? I would have to say at this point in his career it is to early to tell, but I think he might get better this year although his playing time is in jeopardy. I just hope he can help the D become stronger in the run game by being a good edge setter and play smarter. To me a bust is someone who does not contribute at all!
-
I think that Pep just does not have the creativity to utilize all these weapons.
-
having a high powered offense is great in Sept. Oct. and Nov. But come December and January, that high powered offense can be shut down by bad weather as we have seen in the past with Marvin and Reggie. So if NE or Denver gets home field through out the playoffs we can be in trouble again. This is why this pick scares me.
-
I'm most interested in Langford, as he is the one I know the least amount about. He could be a surprise on the d line.
-
DT - Dan Williams or Pot Roast
OLB - Jason Worilds or McPhee
DE - Do you guys think Hardy can play DE in a 3-4? Draft a DE for a 3-4 system. Or maybe Odrick
OL - I really don't know, just hoping Heenan can turn out to be a good pick up. And hoping we draft our future RT in the first round
RB - I may be going against the grain here, but I like our RB position. Sign Bradshaw again for cheap, let him heal and use him on the back half of the season. I was really impressed with Boom. He can find holes, has burst, and has good hands. I remember what Ballard did a couple years ago and he was really good. He can recover from these injuries as he is still very young.
WR - Re-sign Nicks because another year in our system and with Luck would be very beneficial.
ILB - Draft, I like our ILB, especially Freeman.
S - Draft, I think I would have to Seacy, because majority of free agent money will to O-line and D-line. We really have no idea what we have with safety. I think we might draft a safety in the 2nd Round.
This isn't so much a wishlist as this can be realtiy.
-
And if Grigson is going to sign a safety i'll be pumped (like landry pumped) get it!
-
People, we are not getting rid off RJF.
-
good riddance Landry....... your a bum!
-
Keep Boom and Tipton. Re-sign Bradshaw short term. Draft either Ameer Abdullah or Coleman or Ajayi in the 3rd.
Cut Trent.
What this guy said

We get out-coached too often and when we do it's brutal. When we have favorable match-ups against our philosophies we do very well. In order to get to the next level, I do not believe we will ever out-coach New England, and by the way nobody does, so we need to have even more talent foir this squad if we are to move forward.
1. Safety - Landry is the softest player I've ever seen, he plays to avoid contact. I would encourage anyone to re-watch that nightmare and you can't find him anywhere. Adams is all over the field, he didn't play well today but at least he puts out. We must get a safety who wants to play.
2. DT - Suh, Pay the money, I'll chip in to see him step on Brady! Imagine Jones and Suh at Tackle!
3. There were trucking lanes open right up the belly, better find a NT if we're going to be serious about a 3-4. You sinply can't play an effective 3-4 without an anchor.
3. Pray Mathis has a healthy recovery.
4. Freeman can not play the MLB position, he is a 4-3 will backer IMO. He gets trucked in the run game (partially due to 2 and 3). We may need to consider drafting a stout young MLB. Some may believe in Freeman, I don't buy into the "he's fast" narrative.
5. Our line pass blocked well in the end but don't think for a sesond that line is good enough yet. Our run game remains anemic and we must prioritize protecting the franchise at all times.
Coaching,
Defense, Manusky is lost against dynamic game plans. The NE wide-outs can not beat our guys deep yet we played 5-10 yrds off all day, we did not press nor get physical at the line. Help me on that? Clueless against the run game and lost all year against bunch formations. Why not press and blitz Brady? How do we miss on this stuff?
Offense, our game plans are flat out awful, why in the world do we have a third and ten and four wide outs 25 yards down field with their backs to Luck. I guess I skipped to terrible play calling, sorry, watch the tape. Why do we come out with the proven failed "establish the run" plan so we can immediately give the ball back to New England. We ran no bunch formations, no underneath passing, no crossing routes and did absolutely nothing dynamic to leverage the short passing game with our TE's. I also love to see Wayne and Hicks on the bench in favor of three tight end sets in passing situations. It's just bad.
IF the plan is a Super Bowl victory we have much to do!
hit the nail on the head here, but I would rather have Knighton. I just don't trust Suh and the amount of money he is about to get.

Landry needs a permenant move to strong safety and needs to be coached up. IF not then let him go
Nope, just let him go ASAP!

Gimme a break!
Arians formulated this team in Luck's 1st year and coached them to 11-5.
Chuckles took over Arians team in the 2nd year and rode them to another 11-5.
Andrew had his break-out year in the 3rd year and pushed the team to 11-5 in spite of Coach Chuckles.
Pagano has led nothing...he cannot motivate his players, he cannot prepare his team for a big game, he cannot manage the game making good in-game adjustments and he can't even objectively evaluate the players he has.
Geez...mindless, freakin' cheerleader.
I have to agree with what most is being said here, I would just replace "cannot" with "most of the time". I think our weakest link on this team is the coaches, not the players. I mean that game plan for NE was like they game planned for a pre-season game. VANILLA VANILLA VANILLA

I don't know. Other than Hughes was not Grigson's draft pick and so they did not have the scouting information on him that they built on Werner.
I don't read everything like some fans but I don't know where the idea came from that Werner was the replacement for Mathis. I always figured Werner was the replacement from Walden. Walden has played well but I see Werner as more of the run stopping/edge setter OLB not the Rush LB.
Yup i agree

I think it's time to start talking Super Bowl. This year, my expectation was make it to the AFCCG and they did. We got blown out, but they made it there. I think we can start talking Super Bowl now. Expectations need to go up, standards need to go up, we need a really good offseason in terms of free agency and the draft. I don't think we're as far away from the Super Bowl as people think.
Next year, I expect us to get one of the top 2 seeds in the AFC and make it to the Super Bowl (or at the very least make the AFCCG very close and competitive). 11-5 seasons are great, but we need to break through that 11 win ceiling and get to 12 or 13 wins
Agree with everything being said here.

Why is this even being discussed? NO!
Coby Fleener to Saints!

And I'm glad the front office is letting Fleener walk, he is just to soft and he is hard to watch as a fan of football. Doesn't have that edge to play hard.
