Deep...
If he can talk to Collins...certainly he could help.
Collins may not see what Manning sees...
Couldn't hurt, I guess. I just think we are lacking execution more than concepts. We'll see. Would love to see him there.

coaches see something in link , inside info they worked with him all week, look for him to have a good game this week
Don't they work with him...umm, every week?
-
Or Kevin Thomas
That's who I want to see!!!
-
The Colts don't expect a sore throwing shoulder to keep Kerry Collins out Sunday night against Pittsburgh.
It's unclear when the 38-year-old Collins was injured during last week's loss to Cleveland.
I think that would be cool but I don't think it will help us much. Execution and line play is our problem. Manning is a computer of football knowledge, I just don't think he can transmit what he can do to someone else.

Don't like seeing D Free on there besides for rest. What up with him?

I will be rooting for my boys in this one. But, if I am really being honest, I take Pitt with the spread.
Sorry guys, this one is going to be ugly.

That was 2009, bro.

Dude. We are not going to the playoffs this year.

Nobody complained about Bullitt's tackling on the fourth down play in the Pats game a few years back.
He just hit Faulk. He didn't really even tackle him. It was not ruled a catch because he bobelled it, not because of Bullitt's tackle.

Hmmm... Is Polian prepping us for a Painter sighting this week?
Possible. Painter vs. Polamalu et al.

jennings on bears ? better there than with us
Yes, Jennings has done much better.
Harper didn't amount to much with the Titans.
David got torched on the Saints.
Marlin Jackson has been hurt.
We will see how Hayden does.
Bob is healthy so far.
I guess it's kind of a mixed bag in the past several years.

The teams that are good now have good QBs. Modern NFL really accentuates the QB position.
Look at the Jets. I think they have the pieces to go as far as Sanchez can take them.
-
Whom are you referring to?
I can't think of any.
He must be thinking of Jason David.
lol

Like!!!.... just noticed you picked a specific cheerleader lol preference perhaps.
Maybe

We have to convert in short yardage. We have to score touchdowns in the redzone.
These are the two keys, I think. Especially the redzone offense. It's like what we try to do to teams happened to us, the Browns bent but didn't break and we had 4 FGs off of nice looking drives.
Not going to win with that.

Actually, I look more like this guy...
Because we're getting this guy...
It would be cool, but (unfortunately) we might not be as bad as Seattle or KC!
-
If being mad helped, I would hope they are furious for the Pitt game!

I liked Darren Evans but there was no way he was gonna see time anyway
Yup, using up a spot.
I hope this guy can help!
Heck, I hope anything could help right now.

Well, I'm going to go against the grain of this thread and say the Colts will be 1-2 after Sunday. And not only will the Colts win but it will be a convincing win, seven to 10 points. The Colts definitely aren't the same without Manning, but football is about match-ups and the Colts match up well with Pittsburgh.
You have Roethlisberger who likes to stand in the pocket and double pump the ball looking for a bigger play and two tackles that will not be able to handle Freeney and Mathis by themselves and two first time starters at guard. Mendenhall is not running the ball well so far because the guards are not able to open holes up and Mendenhall is not creating his own running lanes. The receivers vs the Colts secondary is in Pittsburgh favor but the big play ability of is negated by the rush.
The Colts O vs the D. Collins will struggle again, but I doubt if he is going to go nearly an entire half without completing a pass again. The Steelers D right now is giving up a lot of shorter stuff in the middle of the field and that is one area where Collins does half way descent. Plus the Steeler D is not playing against the run well. I know most of it was against the Ravens but they have given up 4.6 ypc. Even in the Seattle game there were some huge lanes that Lynch did not hit, plus Lynch is not that good and the Seattle oline is really bad at run blocking. Part of the reason is Hampton has not looked good in the plays I've watched, he's pretty much being handled by one man. So look for even more Addai/Carter.
People can call me a homer or whatever but the Colts are not as bad as the score has looked and, like I stated at the beginning, I don't believe there is a way for Collins to play almost the entire 2nd half without a completion.
Coffee, where can one get some of your enthusiasm?

jags 375??
2006 - at their place, their backs combined for 375 yards against us in a rout.
On this forum (or the version of it then) Jags fans were all over the place like they had won the frickin' Super Bowl!
Of course, we won it a few months later!!!

I always though Manning was, at least partially, a robot.

It was 14-12 after 3 quarters Sunday. Please.
And games are, unfortunately, four quarters.

Please the retractable roof is there for football and nothing else. Other non football events are not going to pick Lucas because the roof can open, they want the security and set environment an enclosed stadium offers. This was a waste of tax payer dollars like no other in Indiana history. Really it is open like what 3 times a year at best?
Have you been to a game with the roof open?
