Well, when he gets cut in 2 weeks, you quickly learn he didn't impress the coaching staff either.
Lol I don't care either way... I want the best men on the team, and have full confidence in our front office in doing that.
What I do care about is getting NEWS when I come into the colts football section of this forum. Not all this fantasy life talk.. A 3rd of 4th round pick? Yeahhhh ok guys
I See link -> click link -> hope to get some news/stats/any other info about our new player -> all I see is hot shots with this "I think this" "I think that" attitude, (like it matters anyway) who sound RIDICULOUS... can't help but wonder where they come up with this .

Yeah, I'm not trying to ruffle feathers of those that fell in love with Williams before he ever put on an NFL uniform, but I just don't see what many said he was. IMO, as far as speed is concerned, it looks to me as if Brown could run circles around this guy without even trying. It's just my observation and I'm not asking others to agree, but those that thought this guy was gonna be "our" Darren Sproles, are going to be highly disappointed. I don't think we'll carry more than 3 RB's along with our FB, so IMO Williams won't make the team. He has done absolutely nothing to prove he's worth keeping over Brown.
"He's misttra know it alllllll"

Slow??
Doug Martin averaged 3.1 ypc in his first 2 preseason games.
Williams averaged 3 behind a horrendous line.
People judge players too quickly.
Tell em!
-
Where do you get your stuff from? I need to know where the good stuff is
Exactly
-
Sorry, but from what I can tell, he looks slow and not very elusive for his size. Maybe it's some sort of optical illusion coming through my TV, but that's what I gather in the short time I've seen him. Seen him at camp twice too and was not impressed at all.
Hahaha yeah right.... Get real... People just don't know how to appreciate the speed of the game... I saw him turn the corner on a run and book it to the sideline and looked really fast to me the negative posts you couch coaches and gms come up with are purely adorable.. Hahahahah sorry he didn't impress you at all, what a scrub right

Is that all we got? This guy? Should have tried to get a third or fourth round pick not sure we needed another wideout?
You should become a GM!
-
I really like our top three cb's in Davis, Toler, and Butler. We are horrible past that hopefully those guys can stay healthy.
haaaaaa

I was just re-watching. It was really close, but it was PI. You may be right, it probably was because Bethea bumped him though.
Also, on the INT - it looked like he was trailing Nicks on the play and Eli either underthrew it or Nicks didn't run the correct route. It looked to me like he had Toler beat and it should have been a big play.
I'm not putting Toler down, I think he's a huge upgrade over last year. But that's what I saw.
one of the safeties was over the top i think? almost positive. guessing that's why eli didnt air it out and let nicks run under it...

I don't think Swearinger was really concerned about being able to take down Keller considering the position Keller was in. I could have made that tackle....well, maybe not, but you get the point.
riiiiight
-
Maybe...just maybe, the lost art of the proper tackle will have to make a proper comeback.
I love how Swearinger makes the case that it's either the knee, the head, or nothing. I suppose if you don't know how to tackle (the week before, Zach Line ragdolled him on his long screen pass TD because Swearinger failed to wrap him up), going for knees and headshots is all you have left. Going for Keller's knee was a direct result in having no faith in his ability to simply wrap and drive because of the Line missed tackle the week before.
oh really, that's why?
-
love it... we're going to have some great depth

All I know is Chapman takes up 2 blockers whenever he's in the gm and the starting NT got pancaked bad on a run by Wilson to start tge gm. TY consistently outplays every WR, but cant even be recognized as the #2 wr. For whatever reason, it's a few positions where the best man is on the bench.
some people just don't get it, and it's pointless to try and explain it.
-
Can anyone explain to me why we drafted a situational player with our first pick? Shouldnt first picks be someone who plays most downs...seems like a waste to me. Especially since he is playing out of position. D. Free 2.0?
hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahah..... just precious

All of these sane posts about it being the preseason and all and yet Irasy took to twitter after the first game to let Colts fans know that he gave his "commanders" a talking too and most Colts fans were supportive of him? smh Much hyprocrisy here me thinks.
adorable

I swear to the Old Gods and the New...if it were 23-7 Broncos at the half this thread would be filled with "BRONCOZ 16-0 SUPER BOWL OMGZ LOLLERSKATES PEEEEEYTOONNNN   "
Swear.
15-1....
-
The seahawks look nice. If we don't fix our special teams we are going to get stomped.
wow...
-
Even so broncos look terrible.
-
looked like Hilton was in... i thought the same thing then on replay looked like his left foot was turned, parallel to the sideline then dragged his right foot...love the awareness

The fumble was simply unacceptable. I see some making excuses saying he was blasted by 2 guys as if somehow that would make the fumble any less terrible. But if you actually watch the play, the guy who causes the fumble is the tackler directly in front of Fleener who he seen the whole time. The guy that comes in from the backside is not the one who caused it. Just terrible ball security from Fleener, he had the ball in one arm the entire time. The TD that was missed was not as blatant, but still needs to be caught if Fleener wants to be a great tight end. He has to secure the ball quicker.
hahahahaha... get out there and show us how it's done then...

I was so excited about chapman and the way he pushed 4 of our OL down on one play, and the best he can do is hold his own against their 3rd string. this really tells me it was more our OL that is so weak was the reason he was able to do that in practice against our first string OL
hahahahahahaahah wow... wahh boo hoo wahhh cry baby

Wow get a life, plain and simple
-
love it
-
rough life ay?... he gets to play football for a living and I'm having a hard enough time finding a "good" job these days..
