It is totally anonymous, for both sides...I don't know if it was a lady or a man, I'm assuming man because I am a large person. I don't even know from where it came from. All I know that it was a perfect liver, so I guess that it came from a younger male. They are really strict about from whom donations come from and go to. Only if both sides are willing, and go through tons of paperwork, would we know.

Thanks everyone..Tuesday night, if I feel up to it, we might take a drive through the Hollywood Hills and surrounding areas, just to enjoy the Christmas lights that people worked so hard to make their homes festive. Merry Christmas to my family here.....

Good call on driving around & looking at Christmas lights CF4L. I do that with my dad a lot. My parents are divorced. Or rather, we used to do that when he lived closer than he does now. I really driving around & looking at lights. It appeals to my inner child I guess.

Glad you are home my friend and they found the other issues early to take care of. My granddaughter has cystic fibrosis and in and out of the hospital. This last time they put a PICC line to make it easier when she needs it going forward

I think the refs should get something nice like this ring, but not the same as the players. It should have year, Superbowl and official title...referee..umpire, lead official or "I screwed up the call."

Yup, 100GFB...The stamina just isn't there anymore buddy. I'm no young teenager anymore cramming for a final anymore. When I'm exhausted, I don't fight it anymore. I just close my eyes & the next thing I know it's tomorrow.

Punishing us who are disabled and need it, isn't the way to go after those that abuse it. It's a band aid over the problem. They do it in my state too, and it's a ridiculous thing cause it don't fix nothing. It just punishes us even more.

I was so conflicted watching UD & Ohio State. What a fantastic game.

Yes.Reggie is more important than one game.

In other words, I opted for rehab and not surgery since my activity levels aren't super high and the rehab made my knee feel better. Yes, there are lingering nuisance pains, nothing debilitating but I resort to surgery only if I have to.

Hang in there buddy! Knees are quite resilient as far as body parts & minimal complications go...Good luck CF4L & keep me posted pal.

Doc said to wait a week, and let the cortisone work..no infection they can tell..Prescribed some extra pain meds..If not any better re-visit and then go from there. I have one knee that is already so bad it needs replacement,(bone on bone arthritis)so I have to get something done with my "good" knee. Thanks for the kind words..I'll keep everyone posted.

I try and do that but when that doesn't work I just leave the forum for a while. Their not worth my time and the post usually don't make sense just argumentative in nature.

Seems like the vote is unanimous. I quit posting a few months ago, check in everyday to see what is up and status reports, but almost never put in my two cents anymore.
