Its 4:30 AM right now..5 years and one hour ago, I was put to sleep, and given a second chance at life, with the gift of a new liver. I pray for the family, who's tragic loss allowed me to live, and I still live not only for myself, but also for the person and their family.

It is totally anonymous, for both sides...I don't know if it was a lady or a man, I'm assuming man because I am a large person. I don't even know from where it came from. All I know that it was a perfect liver, so I guess that it came from a younger male. They are really strict about from whom donations come from and go to. Only if both sides are willing, and go through tons of paperwork, would we know.
