  1. There is only 1 ball for that team. Westbrook, PG, and Melo are nothing but stat chasers. They are the complete opposite of GS, plus their bench is absolute trash.
  2. When he wants to be.. Paul hasn't been a 2 way player since before his injury. Just look at his last 2 years here, it was nothing but a shoot around for him each game. He shot the team out of quite a few games last year.
  3. Melo or PG, or both, might not be there past the All-Star break.. The only way that team does anything worthwhile is if the NBA allows them to have more than one ball on the court at the same time.
  4. I said it right as they traded for PG, they'll be lucky to finish at .500. Picking up Carmelo only solidified my opinion. Their bench just might be one of the worst in the league.
  5. Its honestly just that simple.. Turner has the potential to be a Kevin Garnett-type player.
  6. The vision was to have Turner as a stretch 4 a la the Kevin Garnett role, but not having a good 5 so we could move Turner to the 4, halted that. Sabonis gives that flexibility now, as they can both swap between the 4 and 5 on the fly. Young may get some looks at the 3. All in all the team has "good" problems. All of them will get plenty of PT and tonight was probably the first in years they actually looked like they were having fun.
  7. I'd still take Teague over Collison. Teague would have been perfect with these guys and especially Oladipo.
  8. I HIGHLY doubt it, with both setting their eyes on LA next year, OKC's second half of the season might be pretty ugly.
  9. PG on Leonard's level? HA! Leonard has been in MVP discussions. PG? Nope... I'd take Butler, and especially, Leonard in a heartbeat over PG. PG got soft, wanted to whine about not winning - partially his fault due to his absolute * poor shooting nights, and again, I'm glad Prichard sent his as' out West. He can go and shoot as many of those broke as' jump shots that Westbrook will allow him to. To the bolded... EXACTLY the reason I'd tell PG to go kick rocks and take Leonard.
  10. Devils advocate.. They will struggle to finish at .500 and PG will gone by the trade deadline. This was nothing more than a business move for OKC. They got nothing in return for Durant, they unloaded Oladipo's contract, and I'm sure a good playoff/finals contender will come calling for PG, or they take the best offer. Boston could end up getting PG in the end anyways for a late playoff run rental, depending on what they're willing to give up.
  11. ?? They haven't been % or picked up a worth while FA in over 5 years. Their last "good" FA was 10 years ago and that was Pau Gasol.
  12. Sure didn't seem like it this past year.. He just wanted to shoot half of his 15-20 shots a game behind the 3 point line. He would have been a perfect fit for Cleveland. Paul put on his best "poor-man's Kobe" impression, and went all diva right along with it. I think it's great that KP sent his butt to OKC. He can go fight with Westbrook and try to get the ball from him. They'll be lucky to win 50 games next year with the way those 2 play. It wouldn't surprise me if OKC unloads PG at the trade deadline. LA won't sniff a title playing in the west with GS and San Antonio
  13. Not unless Brad meets Gordon halfway here in Indy. That's about the closest Gordon will ever get to here.
  14. Not when there were widespread predictions/projections that had the Pacers taking Green leading up to and the night of the draft. Taking Plumlee was a huge surprise considering he wasn't going to play because we had Hibbert
  15. To the bolded.. 1) I think Love and Harford could easily play on the floor together. Stevens like big guys who can shoot, however I don't think he would want Love posted around the 3pt line like Cleveland had him doing. Love at the 4 and Horford at the 5 would work fine in my opinion. He needs to be down on the block more and getting back to dominating the post game like he did in Minnesota. Him and Heyword would be a heckuva tandem for Boston. Thomas-Smart-Heyword-Love-Horford That would give Boston a heckuva starting 5. I don't know Boston's cap situation but I don't think that would be too hard to pull off. 2) To the second bolded part, I FIRMLY believe they (NBA)- behind closed doors - told Durant Boston was off limits in FA last year. The NBA loses A LOT of money/ratings if Lebron isn't in the finals and Durant playing in Boston could have possibly spoiled that this year, however Thomas got hurt, and I don't think Durant could have gotten Boston past Cleveland with just Horford. The NBA takes a huge hit if their poster child isn't in the finals. Just my opinion...
  16. Man you Bronsexuals love to reach.. You bashed one guy for having a cake walk when your boy has had it pretty much his whole career..
  17. Like the cake walk LeBron has had in the East his entire career...
  18. He's not going anywhere.. He's done said he won't take max money so GS can resign Steph and keep rights to Iggy and Livingston.
  19. No it's not.. It's chicken sht defense. Thats the one thing I admired about Bobby Knight, if you couldn't play man to man you weren't playing at IU period.
  20. Zone is pretty much saying you can't play defense.. leave that shh for college.
