  1. Yes.....baseball analytics guys provided us groundbreaking discoveries such as "on base percentage is important" back in the 2000s.  Managers had no clue that it was important to get on base the century and a half baseball existed prior to that.  Hopefully the dorks can bring those kind of sweeping reforms to the NFL.

He never had it re-scoped, let alone corrective surgery.  Just rest, a mysterious Euro trip, and then rehab, probably not too unlike last year. So there is the unknown.

To me, the rubber hits the road when it is time for 11 on 11 drills.

And the occasional ex front office guy saying they believe Luck will be ready.  People latch on to that like a drowning victim trying to grab their life saver...

And the frequent current top front office guy saying he believes Luck will be ready.

Honestly I didn’t think his movements and cuts were very fluid, so I wouldn’t be surprised

Agreed.  Other conclusions i've drawn from this 4 second twitter video posted in Mid-May were that his reaction time looks slow, I don't like the angle he took to get to the outside, he looked rather flat-footed when changing directions & his anticipation seemed slower than normal.

I think he's out for the entire season, personally.

I always thought he was overrated with the 2nd/3rd round talk, thought 4th or 5th was more appropriate.  So I can't complain with the value.

Cool.  I'm glad you are fine with the value of this pick.  Now that that's settled, we can move onto looking at UDFA.

  5. What's the problem?  If he sucks, then he won't be on the team.  Simple as that.

If he makes the team, consider that a)  it means he's one of the best 5 cornerbacks on the roster and b)  the professionals evaluating him who, each one of them, are more knowledgable than any 20 people combined on this message board are and who's livelihoods depend on making educated evaluations, have determined he's good enough to warrant a roster spot.

    Sorry....    this won't be popular...

But this ranking is both ridiculous and embarrassing.

It won't be popular, but it's true.  I don't see how the Colts could possibly be ranked anywhere but at the bottom 3.
