This is what we have currently

    T.Y. Hilton

    Parris Campbell

    Zach Pascal

    Daurice Fountain

I would like to see us sign Rishard Higgins as a free agent. He has played all 3 spots in the past with the Browns.

Then double down on a stud WR in the draft. We need a Reggie Wayne type of receiver that is a hands catcher, runs precise routes and gets in and out of his breaks smoothly. Someone like a Devonta Smith from Alabama.

    How bout Ceedee Lamb

Imo we aren't that far off. We have a stellar oline and we do have playmakers on both sides of the ball.  We just need an upgrade at QB,  WR, CB and DT. Luck really took a dump on this team when he left last minute.  Honestly I think Ebron bailed because he came to the Colts to play with Luck...not Brissett. A cruddy attitude I know but you can tell Reich and company were taken by surprise with him choosing to go on IR. Honestly I only see the Colts winning maybe 2 of the next 5 games so maybe we can snag one of the top QBs coming out of the draft. I know Ballard has been keeping an eye on Jordan Love.....

I been checking loves highlights and I really like what I see, he has slid down the boards because of a so so year etc but he just may be a sleeper of the draft and work in our favor

  3. I’d have to disagree with those throwing Reich under the bus I believe the statement made, that he is limited in the QBs  he has, he was establishing a decent trend with Brissett but honestly I believe Kelly just might be the better possibility out of Hoyer and Brissett.

Cain has needed to be replaced since week 4 at the latest.

I'm partially convinced that Ballard didn't invest in a WR out of some misplaced faith in his draft pick and if that's the case it's an abject disaster for the Colts because a GM who falls in love with his picks is a GM who will not be decisive when it's time to make the moves necessary to be the best franchise we can possibly be.

We needed a WR at the deadline.  We probably needed 2 WR at the deadling.  I'm still bitter at Ballard for effectively giving us -1 WRs at the deadline, as he HAD to know that TY wasn't 100% by then.

I'm beginning to come to the conclusion that Ballard is a great personnel evaluator but an indecisive leader when it comes to making cuts and replacing talent he drafted that needs to be replaced.  You can't afford to fall in love with yourself as a GM, and you can't fall in love with any one individual player or draft pick.

I'm beginning to fear that Ballard is buying his own hype and that means bad things for the franchise down the road.  Refusing to buy talent at the deadline when there's a chance to compete for playoff glory right in front of you is a massive red flag for this.

As the old adage goes, it's more easily forgiven to try and fail, than to fail to try!

I’d have to agree we have more than enough money and we sit on it, we need some game changers we need to spend in FA and get some holes filled

  5. Let me say All in all we played well defense hats off, we truly should have and could have won this game. We left a minimum of 8 points on the field 2 field goals down in the red zone should have been 2 tds then the last drive, again no td just bad mistakes and I think we should have been more creative in our play calling in those instances, but we are good We will be fine. I bet we make the play offs!

  6. I did not get to watch the game but went back watched the highlights. Initially when I saw the score before watching I thought man we got our butts whooped! Then after watching the highlights of everything we In no doubt would have one if the player did not jar the ball loose with his helmet, really you can’t blame Doyle only thing he could have done was get down. Then the interception by Moore should have been a TD but anyway simple few mistakes and a little better running on our part a few adjustments and it we could have won with double digits. All in all I thought we was coached well we played well and I still think we are still in the hunt for the playoffs. Thoughts and upcoming games?

The secondary is just inconsistent as the announcers pointed out today.  One series they look like a very good unit and the next like they have no business being in the NFL.  However, that's to be expected when they are pretty much only playing rookies and second year players back there right now.  Still it was good to see Hooker get that pick and I saw enough from Wilson today to know I'd rather see him play and take some lumps at corner than Green out there.

Wilson is a beast, in my opinion he's a rookie and most of all the time he is draped on the receiver and nothing has come easy for the receivers he has covered. Really like this guy and Hairston
