  1. I've been running through playoff machine simulations and it looks like there is a way the Colts can clinch a playoff spot this week. Colts beat Raiders and Browns beat Jets ✓ Ravens beat Dolphins (at Bal) Bills beat Patriots (at Buf) Titans beat Texans (at Hou) Seahawks beat Steelers (at Sea) Chiefs beat Bengals (at KC) Broncos beat Chargers (at Den) *Only one road team would need to win (Tenn) If it's wrong let me know, but it seems like when I put these outcomes in, it doesn't matter what happens week 18. Colts either win the division with a Jags loss/Colts win or get the 7 seed with a Colts loss.
  2. The good thing for the Colts chances is some of these teams have to play each other. Week 16: Texans-Browns and Bengals-Steelers Week 18: Browns-Bengals
  3. I believe with a Bills win everything stays as is. Tie break would look like this if the following teams are 8-6: Division tie-breaks settled first: Bengals Colts-Texans Bills (Colts win division tiebreak over Houston) Bengals - Colts - Bills (Bengals beat both teams so they win tie-break. It doesn't matter that the Colts haven't played the Bills. That would only matter if the Bengals had lost to one of us.....then it would go to Conference Record) Bengals get 6 seed Remaining teams go back in tie-break procedure: Colts-Texans Bills (Colts win division tiebreak over Houston) Colts - Bills (Colts have better conference record) Colts get 7 seed
  4. Unfortunately, everything that could happen today to hurt the Colts is happening. Browns, Bengals, Bills, and Broncos all winning. The only good thing today was Texans losing.
  5. That's not how it works. Once one team is decided by a tie breaker, then the remaining teams enter the tie breaking scenarios from the beginning. If you check NFL.com now they have updated it. Steelers are 6 and Bengals are 7, Colts are 8. It's because once the Steelers win the multi team tie break, it starts over again with the remaining teams.
  6. In my opinion its the Raiders. They have had the most pre-draft QB visits (7), tied with the Colts. The Raiders pick 7th as well, so not that far for the Cardinals to fall. I just can't see the Raiders going through that many QB visits if they weren't actively trying to get into the top 4.
