Agreed. He's better than Grigson but it seems that we're trying to stick to building through the draft as the only strategy. You have to get into FA to fill your holes while you are building. I'm not sure Indy did that. I realize that Ballard doesn't want to overpay but sometimes, you get what you pay for.

It was a rivalry when Manning was here but it isn't anymore.

Our Tackle situation is in great need of improvement....not that no one knows this.
I wish that we'd have been more active in FA for the O-line and maybe RB. I wanted Solder and Norwell (Tackle and Guard respectfully). That would have freed up draft picks for Tackles....perhaps instead of Braden Smith, for example. Not that he isn't any good.
It would have been nice to be able to sign Carlos Hyde. I feel like we missed some opportunities in FA that would have filled some problem areas.

I didn't see the game today. How did the tackles do?

I think Luck is still rusty and still building a rhythm with his receivers. Our starting tackles being out has not helped as well as our starting running back. I think when personnel returns, the offense will get better.
The D is playing well, though IMO too flexible concerning the ground game. Overall, looking good.

He really looked good out there today. I loved the fumble and recovery.
