Seriously…. To move up for Nabors it’ll cost much more than a 3 and a Day Three pick. That offer was to move up a little. To move up as far as Nabors, the compensation would be much more expensive. Like a 2 and a 4, and maybe a future pick. Which you may be willing to do. But I seriously doubt Ballard and Steichen would go that far.Unfortunately, You're probably right. I just want this offense to get one more dynamic player for AR and this offense would explode.

I would like to see Ballard draft TE Brock Powers. With the verdict still out on Woods it's a no brainer imo
He'll have to move up to dd it. IMO But I think it's worth it.

Stand pat is my guess, but only if Bowers in there which isn’t likely
I agree! IMO Bowers is the best pick if Ballard and Co think that Pierce is a good enough deep threat receiver. I'm not saying that I think he is I'm just saying if they think he is then Bowers is the best pick. But unfortunately, I think Ballard stays at 15 and picks a corner which isn't necessarily a bad pick. I just think we need one more dynamic offensive player like a Bowers to make this offensive explosive one more will do it. IMO. But I know we need more defense playmakers so maybe Turner is who they're looking at. I'm not a big Paye fan we could use a formidable pass rusher. I would be surprised if Ballard moves up and loses picks unless there is a player that he loves. I think it's more likely moving down than moving up. But if I were to answer what I would love to see him do it would be to move up and get either Nabers or Bowers there on my wish list. To me either one of those players would make this offense sizzle. I think Nabers would be the deep treat this offense needs. If Ballard thinks he can get what he wants in the second round and beyond there are enough quality players then he moves down. But to me, I don't agree with this strategy because this team needs more difference-makers that's why I like the idea of moving up.

well gotta break the streak of no new Luck related threads in several weeks…
For those still holding out some fantasy level of hope of Luck returning, he put that to bed. It’s over.
best wishes in retirement.
there, all done.
Man, was he in great spirits during that conversation. I never realized how nice of guy he is. I wish him and his family well.

If the player Ballard wants gets picked before 15. I can see Ballard trading down for more picks. I don’t see Ballard trading up unless there is a player he can’t live without. I also believe we’re going to have to draft a center in this draft somewhere because I believe this will be the last season for Kelly because it’s the last year of his contract.

If Bowers, CB from Toledo or WR from LSU if available at pick 15 who would Ballard take or trade down?
I say CB
I think he takes Bowers. IMO Bowers jis a type player Ballard likes. We haven’t had anyone close to him since Doyle retired.

I like listening to Rick, very insightful. But we have to remember what Gus had to work with and how well he’s done. Yes, I’d love a more modern attacking D. Not sure if the team is there yet.
And Rick doesn’t exactly have a stellar career as a coach either. Glass houses.
No, But he was an awesome coordinator.

No one said it did in terms of his guilt or innocence but if we can’t state opinions on a message board what on earth are we doing here?
True you can state an opinion but that’s all it is.

In the court of law. Innocent until proven guilty doesn’t apply to football teams or public opinion.
You just said the right word opinion and it's not based on any fact it's just an opinion. That means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Yeah, maybe, if he is found guilty but you are innocent until proven guilty so let's hold judgment.

To be fair this hasn't been his best season though not his worst either.
Still great pass blocking but his run blocking has been average.
Okay, but not last week he was great in the run game.

How weird is it that Nelson is the only starting OL that DIDN'T make his roster? Oh, my bad, Fries didn't either, but my point is not exactly invalidated - three OLs made his roster and none of them were Big Q?
Yeah, Nelson will be all-pro in my opinion.

It probably knocked them out of the playoffs at the very least, at best, it gives us a chance to make the playoffs and write a Cinderella story.
Is this really a Cinderella story how many players on our current team could potentially be Hall of Famers I can think of three right off the top of my head. JT, okay is out. Buckner and Nelson maybe more.

That second half was domination. The way we ran the ball with two backups is crazy. Now hopefully Pittman can get back next week.
I was just glad he could walk the field because I like Pitt as a person and as a player. I was concerned for him so I just hope he gets better no matter how long it takes. But I bet his neck and head will be hurting tonight ice pack.

We just didn’t show up today. Why I don’t know the Bengals didn’t look that good to me. We just weren’t aggressive enough today to beat anybody.

Nice! Well done! I love what Steichen has brought to this team. This team has moxie and spirit! Our talent is nowhere near enough for us to be scoring this many points and winning this many games. But somehow... they just get in position to win them even through offensive mistakes and questionable defensive possessions...
What? We got the talent why because of the silly year last year. I don’t know why the simple minded folk think we don’t have the talent this a players league we got talent or we wouldn’t be winning it’s that simple. We got few young receivers who starting to come into there own if that’s what you mean? It’s takes time and now we’re starting to seeing it on the field Rome wasn’t built in a day. I mean Steichen had done a good job putting players in the right position to be successful but it’s a players league. But if you base everything on last season you don’t know this team very well. Where is it you think we’re so deficient? Because I’m not seeing it yeah we need Grove back but I pretty job overall at stopping the run considering there is no magic wand in this league.

Yes, he does.
Colts have the 15th pick in the draft. (MERGE)

If we move up, it would be for a TE like in Bowers.
